New Riva 1100 questions

Hi everyone - new to vaping. Blew a 10 year quit and started last year. Gutted. Tried cold turkey several times. Hopefully this will help me for good.

Anyway, Received a riva 1100 yesterday on this forums advise. Well impressed. However, 1 of the sample flavours i got i am finding quite sickly. I used the clearomiser with this flavour juice. Can i just tip the juice out and add a new flavour juice ? Do i need to wash it out first ? 

Also. I am wondering, in the future, how do i "dial down" the nicotine so i can get off my nic adiction for good ?? Or is that not possible with this model ?

Welcome to you Gee.

You can indeed just tip out the liquid you're not enjoying, refill and then vape through the flavour change for a short time. This is what suits me to do.

You can also rinse your clearo out and start again, but you'll have to wait a wee while for it to dry out.

In the future, lowering your nicotine strength/intake, is as simple as buying a lower mg one. Which strength did you choose?

What flavour do you find sickly?

Some will remain for quite a while if you don't rinse out.
Some will remain for-almost-ever, even if you do rinse out.

Don't throw out the rest of the juice you don't like - put it in the drawer, and when you find it in a couple of months, you may be surprised, and like it. That has just happened to me with Strawberry-Mint.

Hi thanks for the replies - i found the grizwalds caramel tabac quite sickly - a little like smoking treacle !
I Also have menthol which im trying via the cartomizer. Still getting used to both delivery methods. not sure what one i prefer i think it will take some time.
All are samples which are 18mg (2% nicotene) i thought that was the amount of liquid in the sample not the strength ?

18mg is the amount of nicotine in your liquid, which equates to 1.8%. You can buy various different strengths later once you have found your feet

You can adjust nicotine levels by buying the same flavour in both high and low and mixing to what suits you, or you can go the whole hog and mix your own liquid to whatever strength you like.

18 was great for me at the start, but I am now on 6 (after a long period on 12/14)

Hi and welcome to here. Its a good place to be with a wealth of knowledge
I have 2 Riva 1100's. These were recommended to me by Chrissie one of which has had the hammering of its life for months now. Somewhere I read that you can dilute the strength with neat vodka, which will also dilute the strength of the taste (probably totally wrong), but the next part that you have to do is find a juice that really does it for you, that's really difficult because one day your favourite juice will taste pants and you will change again. The trick here is to only buy small amounts and give them a try. I vape Benson Fences 36mg,Golden Virginia 36mg, HS Menthol Sensation 24mg, Irish Cream 36mg which I change every few days as my taste buds change. Stick with it and experiment with flavours and strengths, its better than smoking those smelly killers.
