My main concern if you use unprotected IMRs is your IMR getting too low to recharge, but if you're a seasoned vaper you'll change the battery with drop in satisfaction before that happens.

I tend to use attys at 1.5-1.8 Ohm but being mechanical, this thing will handle lower resistance than that as well.

Hmm. I'd probably use it for clearos and carto tanks, so unlikely to get under 1.8 ohms on those, although I could potentially wrap some lower nova heads?

Does the button move the battery in some way....or is it something simple that I can't imagine, as I don't have any mech mods?

I don't think I'd risk it with my AWs, so batteries are a must.

Thanks Fiddles . . . I'm hoping that as this has a re-designed top cap it might accommodate the Segelei, if it doesn't then I could always sell it.

I'm having a job finding a device I like that has side switch activation and will take this.

The post makes contact with the battery spring when you activate the button Djs, completing the circuit . . . your AW's would be perfect, I use them all the time in mechanical mods.

The button is screwed into the outer casing and is basically a spring loaded pin.
When you push it it touches a pole section on the bottom cap which has the spring to the battery on the end.
The casing is part of the circuit so when the button is pressed and contact made the current flows right round the device.

Think I'll go for it. There is a chart (on Fasttech as it happens) that shows the current levels over time from protected 18650s.

Yeah I love the panasonic batteries although I only have IMRs.
They work just fine in the KTS+ (mark one ?) though and I'm quite careful with me batteries.

I've got 2 of these waiting to leave Hong Kong for the last five days for my KTS (tapered top) I shall try it with a DCT and 1.5 ohm cartomisers.

Strange, I had the V1 (it's now winging its way to Jez) I managed to kick it with the segelei from VH no problem.

Bottom Half (disc) goes in just but top half will not go in on mine
