The battery size only really affects how long it lasts at full power. A bigger battery will give good results for longer, so in that way it vape s better.

Hello & welcome bazzer343 Could you give us a link to, or tell us a bit more about the 510 battery you have?

The battery size isn't as important as its width LoL I do seem to get a better (better depth) vape off an 18500 or above than an 18350 - and generally better off an 18350 than a 14500. The 1st 2 numbers are the width of the battery in mm and the next 2 the length with a zero added. Having said that i use CR123's a lot (16340's) a lot with Evods and they give a cracking vape As do me Evod batteres

Batteries - bigger doesn't normally get you a better vape. Bigger - i.e. higher mah - will last longer between charges and is cheaper in the long run because average life of a battery is proportional to the number of (full) charges. Kit which you put big batteries into (vamo for example) tends to have a little screen and more features than a battery with all the electronics built on (e.g. ego, spinner, twist). The most useful of these, I think, is telling you how much charge you have left in the battery. These devices are bigger - typically 2cm in diameter compared to 1.2 for a spinner or twist, and maybe 10 to 13cm long. A lot of us have this sort of device on the desk at home, but use a spinner or twist for out & about. "Mechanical mods" - tubes which take big batteries but have no electronics (so no variable voltage) - also have their fans, though I don't understand why. Cartomisers - like a lot of people I prefer clearomisers - we like the taste better and we can see when they are running out of juice - but the most commonly recommended cartomisers are Boge - www.vapeescape.co.uk/Vaping-Spares/Cartomisers/Cheap isn't necessarily bad, expensive isn't necessarily good. We should be able to tell you if/how you can improve on what you've got if you tell us what it is. If you have only one battery you should get another anyway. Like light bulbs there is no guaranteed life and so you need a spare.

I am using a normal ego 1100 amd 650 also twist v7.900mah a ce4 Cartomiser on the normal batteries and a vivi nova on the twist Battery capacity is given a mAh - therefore a 1300 mAh has twice the capacity of a 650 mAh Think of the mAh rating as your "vaping tank size" the higher the value the more capacity you have in your tank. mAh stands for milli Ampere hours or how long a battery can give a set current for time a milliamp is 1/1000 of an Amp (symbol "I" in ohms law) so a 1100 mAh can give 1 milliamp for 1100 hours! (in theory) or 1 Amp for 1.1 hours - this figure is for constant in practical terms you would not keep your finger on the button for 1 hour constantly So using ohms law if you had a 2.4 ohm coil on a 3.7 volt battery you would be drawing (I(A) = V/R) 1.54 Amps Drawing 1.54 Amps from a 1100 battery with a 2.4 ohm coil would last 0.714 hours or 42 minutes CONSTANT running (remember you only press the button for 5 - 8 seconds) so 42 minutes divided by say 6 seconds would give you 420 "drags" on your E-cig. f you use a LOWER resistance coil the current you draw will be higher therefore you'll use your capacity up quicker and conversely for a higher resistance coil you'd use less current per drag and use the capacity up slower. Spinners, Twists, Ego and Riva Batteries all have EGO connectors, these have 2 screw threads on them a 510 connector (the inner thread) and a Ego thread (the outer one) so you can use anything on top that has either or both.
