Im in two minds right at this present time in life about vapeing as im scared in all honesty especially with the new news whats come about in the news thread on here.I enjoy vapeing in fact i love it but im scared its gonna get taken away from me and many others who love it.I dont wanna go back on the analogs but right now im worried the government will find some way of stopping it.
I dont understand how they can say ecigs are harmful i mean look what they done with herbs and they've been around for hundreds of years where as ecigs only a seconds really compared to herbs.
It really is scary times and has me on the edge tbh.

I know what you mean. I don't want to go back to smoking and how they can have cigarettes and tobacco legal but then try to make e-cigs illegal is beyond me. Right now we just have to pray and hope that common sense will prevail over EU madness.

The fact that Tesco's is going to be selling a disposable e-cig in all of it's stores, puts my mind at rest to a cetain extent. There is no way they would have gone ahead of launching them for sale nationwide, if they thought the product was going to banned.
Plus, I believe that no matter what happens, we will be able to buy direct from china.

Well I for one will not go back to the fags and will carry on vaping no matter what the outcome, I'll just order my nic juice from China. The good thing about getting nic juice from China is that whenever I've ordered any from there (Eastmall's 60mg nic juice) it has always arrived labelled as model parts, or toys.
I'm also going to be getting myself a couple of Bulli A2's soon so will never have to worry about atty's and cartos.
I have a few mods already, and could easilly build one if necessary. As for batteries well they can't do anything there so they will always be available.
As for flavourings, well I do'nt see how they can legislate on these as they are used for cooking and baking primarily, so no worries there.
What does concearn me is that some folk might attempt making their own nic juice which would be highly dangerous to say the least, as it costs an awful lot of money for the equipment to measure the nic content, apart from which you'd need to be a chemist to boot.
To me a ban would just drive vaping undergroud. I know a lot of folk do'nt want to go back to fags, but given the price of a pack now.... well need I say more.

I see where you are coming from Griz. I doubt they can stop you from importing the bits. Driving it underground will just make it more dangerous as there will be no regulation whatsoever then.
Why doesn't the EU spend that 16million on researching E-cigs and their merits and safety etc instead of trying to stop us. Give people a viable option and a choice! They are happy to let people carry on smoking tobacco but not e-cigs, that's not concern for health that's concern for their own pockets!

I agree with griz, as long as I can get hold of nic juice I will continue to vape and the chinese are very creative with postage labels - most of my components come as "gifts" of one sort or another to avoid customs. Flavourings are already out there and many already have their food safe testing out of the way. They can't legislate against batteries and resistance wire so the equipment can be built by anyone with a bit if knowledge. If a ban comes in I will still make mods for people since they would have difficulty in banning what is in essence a portable kettle.
I hope in the future I do not find myself getting NRT patches so I can soak the nic out of them since they have a pre assigned nic level.

"Bathtub e-juice and speakeasies".
That was our battle cry when the FDA threatened our e-cigs.
It was our way of telling the government that they can ban it but we will ignore the ban, just like we did with alcohol prohibition in the 1920s.

I'd happily travel to China and fill a suitcase full of goodies for people! I know we'll find a way around any ban which they may decide to try and enforce should the need arise. However I agree with Chrissie, I don't think Tesco would take this lightly, if they're rolling these out in all stores they must have some idea of the longevity of the ecig market.

I can't afford to panic again...last year, a couple of months after I started vaping, the whole MHRA debacle took off and I stocked up on a ton of stuff. Needless to say it cost me a fortune and now I'm not so keen on half of the stuff I bought . I guess equipment and nic juice will be readily available from China but every now and then I have a mini flap as I am already struggling to find concentrates I like enough to keep me on the straight and narrow .

Katy, I have about two years of hardware and e-juice on hand. I don't trust our FDA, anymore than you trust your MHRA.

I don't envy you...at least we are unlikely to have a ban on importing stuff (crosses all crossable body parts). The FDA, by all accounts, seems to be looking towards more drastic measures .

Only having a border with Canada and Mexico and then the two oceans, doesn't help us Katy. Canada will follow what the U.S. does and I'm not sure if Mexico allows e-cigs or not. If they allow them, then we would have a way to get supplies as that border has more holes in it than Swiss cheese.
