After a long discussion myself and Mrs Beatnik have decided to have a do at mixing. Around August-ish when we get back from Florida, so no rush! I'm looking for a list of equipment we'll need - with links....and prices. and a list of liquids we'll need to mix aprox 100ml of Burley tobacco flavor 18mg, and 100ml of menthol 18mg. maybe 200ml of each if possible - again with links....& prices. You said you like a challenge... so all help would be greatly appreciated Cheers Beatnik.

YW Beatnik . . . another word of friendly advice, absolutely do not make large volumes of a flavour until you've found a concentrate and recipe you like.
5 . . . maybe 10ml is the biggest amount I ever mix if it's a new flavour or recipe to me. Once you've got that right, then it's easy enough to make larger quantities.

Same here perp. Only doing single fruit flavours at the moment but only do little 5ml samples of them. Steep for a week and then try them. If i like then i mix up 30ml and then if i still like the flavour halfway in the 30ml i mix up 50ml of it ready for when the 30ml runs out. If it needs tweeking it is another 5ml and away we go again. I made about 10 little 5ml samples when i first started and only liked 1 or 2 out of them.

It really is the sensible way to mix Ros. If you want to avoid wastage and disappointment, until you've found a ' core ' set of recipes that work for you.

Unfortunately I'm quite cavalier on my mixing, I set my nicotine level, add vodka then look at my flavours and decide what goes with what put them in then make up to 15ml with VG and PG, then steep until I need them, I've had nothing unvapeable yet nor anything earth shattering either, but I'm not setting fire to tobacco so I don't care. but I'm not setting fire to tobacco so I don't care. Dave And that's pretty much all that is important Dave, no matter how you achieve it.
