How long do people find it takes to charge 18650 batteries? I know it's a "piece of string" question, but I'm using a Trustfire TR001 charger, and charging a supposed 1500mAh battery, but 4hrs and it still wasn't showing as charged ??? Rough ideas from people with same charger would be welcomed, ta.
I may just be lucky and vb supplied higher-capacity batteries incorrectly marked.....

At 500mah as the charger is rated it should take around 3 hours from flat. I can charge 2600 mah batteries in my cheapo torchy charger in around the same time

Well bugger me!!! No, not really.. ok, so it took 5hrs 20mins !!!! so, either the charger is past it (it's a mate in work's backup one) or the supposed 1500mAh batteries supplied by vaporbreak are actually a higher capacity, or a combination of both. They do seem to last well couple of days or so in the lavatube. We'll see what happens next week when my new TR001 gets here from fasttech, and how long they take. And, as stated above, I will have to fix the cheapie vb charger I've got that does them in two and a half hours

Superfast chargers are reknowned for shortening battery life. The best chargers aren't supposed to be fast.
I've got a bunch of AA/AAA chargers. Some charge them from flat in, from memory, less than an hour but my best Ansmann charger takes a few hours.
The intellicharger i4 took about 8 hours to initially charge my 2900mAH 18650 batteries.
Also some chargers will charge slower than normal if you have multiple batteries on charge.
