I've saved my health and gained a rather nice hobby.

I've spent far more on vaping than I would have done in a comparable time smoking but I did used to go to Belgium to get my tobacco every year.

As others have said, you can't put a price on the improvement in health and prospects for a longer life.

Also I had a non-vape delivery today. Opened the door and the delivery driver reeked of smoke. The smell lingered in the hallway for a fair while afterwards.

Not smelling like an ashtray is priceless.

I'm not sure I'm saving much money at the moment but I already feel better than I did when smoking and that is the most important thing for me. Plus it is great fun learning DIY.

I like to look at it this way: My collegues decide to buy a Mercedes instead of a Dacia or Skoda, which is all they needed, and blow out 30k€ more than needed in a single day. What business have they arguing with me about my vaping costs =)

I spent a bit more on vaping than I would have on cigarettes, but the gap is actually closing after almost two years. And let's just say this much: Even if I could not buy any vaping stuff from now on, I would be fine for a decade or two.

Roscopecotrain... like you, I've also kept a spreadsheet since I started vaping. As of today, and within a couple of weeks of my 1yr anniversary, I've spent £1,061, but would have spent £2,678 on the fags. So, good result, although I've recently ordered an MVP and starting to get a bit of a 'shiney' urge. Need to resist, and possibly hide my PayPal password.

I've spent £733.00 in the last 4 months. £330.00 since last week . Most of that was when i had a mad shopping spree with all my  gear

Have spent about £100 more than I've saved, but I'm happier and healthier and vaping is actually a hobby as well as taking nicotine. I've now got so much stuff I don't need any more, and any further buys will be wants not needs.
