Should flavours known to crack tanks be mixed with glass utensils and stored in glass bottles?
I mixed up some TPA flavourings and without thinking put them into plastic bottles. Nothing seems to have happened to them yet but are they safe to vape?

Hi Kailey, i think a lot depends on the type of plastic/thickness etc of the tank. I may be wrong, but as far as plastic bottles are concerned, u should be fine using them as storage, as dont they come delivered in a plastic bottle?

As long as they are made of LDPE i think they should be fine, i think the only that needs to be in glass is Absinthe...maybe wrong though

A good general rule is if the Concentrate comes to you in a glass bottle, then it's fairly safe to assume that's for a reason Kailey. . . and would be best made up/stored in glass as well. There are always exceptions, Lorann's come in glass and so do TPA's if you buy direct from them in the US. But it's a very good indication nonetheless.

Thank you, jcol, Romelee and Perpetua. Now that I think about it, the flavouring came in plastic bottles like the others so they are probably okay, at least in the short term.

Just while we're on this subject dead quick - is DV Lime Zinger a tank cracker? I can't find out for sure

I don't honestly know I'm afraid Jen . . . have got some myself that I haven't used as yet, I was going to err on the side of caution and use it in a Protank. How about sending DV a quick email to ask, we'd all know then which would be useful.

In that case I'll just drop some concentrate onto an old CE4. For science!

And I've just emailed DV Jen . . . so we'll find out one way or another.

Definitive answer from Shaun at Decadent Vapours . . . Lime Zinger is not a tank cracker. Lime on Jen.
