I have been enjoying Irish Cream, Golden Virgin, Benson Fences and HS Menthol Sensation for ages now.....but now......they seem to have lost their niceness (if that is a word).....The Irish Cream seems harsh as does the rest of them. I have tried new cartos and its the same, so I have ordered some XXX Soft Mint from the Alchemist as I may need something sweet now or maybe I am vaping too high on the nicotine now as its always either 36mg or 24mg, we shall see as it should be here tomorrow

I had the same problem after a while when your off the stinkies your taste buds will change some peoples change quicker than others. If the mg you are on is giving you the hit u need keep with that level, you just have to try other liquids tbh, that's how I went about it.

Joose juice do samples 10ml for 99p if that helps in not spending to much on liquid to try.

I had the same thing at the 3 month point, everything tasted nasty.

Decided that was as good a time as any to use up all the flavours I didn't like.

It could be nicotine. I've dropped from 12 to 8 then 8 to 6 because juices became to harsh.

But taste buds do change.

Seasoned vapers explained in a thread that this still happens to them bazzer. Reason is no matter how much we have now got a better sense of taste we have killed our taste buds, after years of smoking. It said that rotating flavours is important and that plenty of water cleanses the palette of the build up of pv and pg. Some suggest a tounge scrapper, others suggest to load three clearos/cartos with different flavours and rotate the flavours through the course of the day. Some also suggested mint to cleanse the palette, in between flavours. They also said that finding the juices can be the hardest part of vaping, it can take time, but folk do get there. So in short it seems it will feel our taste buds are constantlybplaying up, they are not, we just have to help them a little it seems. I have vapped nothing but Black cat for three days, I got home yesterday and had to get the mint out (still can't bear the other sweet flavours I have) I put what I learned to the test at 12:55am, made my last vape BC and could taste it, it hit the spot...again.

Nice tip siffy, I didn't think of trying mint.

I do have a rotation of at least 3 juices in use daily as I find it keeps the flavours alive.

The way I see it after nearly 30 years of smoking my taste buds are tuned to having fag smoke with every flavour.

My tongue 'remembers' all the flavours from my old life and all the food flavours I loved have only got better.

But I struggle with new ones, a new flavour is great on day one but by day 3 has become bitter and twisted.

If somebody could come up with a 'smoke' flavour to add to my juice as a catalyst I'm sure all the new flavours would pop!

I think it maybe the nicotine, i started on 18mg and now shifted to 11mg, i still have some 18mg hanging around and everytime i load up an 18mg it seems really harsh, especially the first vape of the day.

I was glad to read last night that seasoned vapers have, at times, this problem too. I was getting to the point of thinking it must be me, am I being a mardy arse, everyone else is loving flavours so why am I not. I mentally feel better about it now and realise vaping does take work, in the sense of lots of different flavours, so I will, am going to order 10 99p 10ml samples in the next half hour. For me the pennyvhas dropped, I couldn't understand why I never found ciggy taste distasteful, no matter what brand, I really could smoke any brand, I see now I wasn't really tasting anything but likely just experiencing a hot sensation that brought relief. I get it now and thankfullyI feel better about it.

I am going to always have a mentholnfilled evod on hand, I ddidn't at work yesterday, big mistake..lol

Yes it might be. I read about increasing thevthroat hit is done by 18mg and above and a high pv, so yes, it's likely it tastes harsh.

5g tub of menthol from Boots (about £1), 1/2 fill 10ml bottle with crushed flakes top up with no nic PG, warm it and shake like a nutter.

4 drops of that will turn 10ml of any juice into menthol, it's mad strong!

I have been using the same bottle I made for 6 months!

No, but I'll give that a go. I can then add that to the bottles of the ones I don't like. Brilliant tip, thanks. When you say warm it, how do you warm it?

I am just about to order two 5ml , am going for Storm and Citrus spring (I use vape escape as I know they will be here tomorrow) Am thinking the citrus spring will refresh my taste buds. Am also thinking of trying RY 4, have you tried any of these.

I usually put it on the radiator but not at this time of year. Try sticking it in your trouser pocket for a while or stand in a bowl of hot water. Not too deep though or the bottle may tip over!

RY4 is on my regulars list, I'm not sure what it is supposed to taste like (obviously) but it certainly gives a bit of a baccy taste to stuff.

Just trying RY5 for the 1st time and it seems to be RY4 with the corners rounded off.

I use VE a fair bit, especially when I know I have to have something the next day, have only had one delivery that took 2 days out of about 20 orders.

Just placed a first order with JOOSE JUICE yesterday, some 10ml 18mg testers at 99p with £3 delivery.

Ry4 is supposed to be tobacco with a hint of caramel and sometimes vanilla. They vary a lot from vendor to vendor. Not a fan myself.

Thanks for the warming it up tip. Let me know what you think of your testers, from Joose Juice too. Dreamy said he felt the apple was good.

You know what, I have just loaded my evod with Winson, one of the first ones I every vaped. My itaste is charging so am on the spinner. I have popped it to 4.3 volts, on a 1.8-2.0 atty, am I like it and have solved another issue I had, heat. I, being so new burned so many attys and microwaved my juice it put me off having it high. I faffed about, turned it up a notch and it doesn't taste burnt or dreadful today. Has made a huge difference to the satisfaction side of it today. The heat is on (finally) as the song goes. .....Slowly, but surley I am sort of getting there;)

Like I say, let me know what you thought of the juice. I am after three of four reviews before I place an order, only because I want to make post and pacage charge worth my while.
