Does anyone have this?
Does it shut off the power when the battery gets to 3.2 v? Does it protect the device from shorts and such? Is it worth buying if you use a mech mod?

I do . . . but as yet I've not found a mechanical device it actually fits as I don't like bottom activation buttons.

Yes I have one. It fits in my Roller with no problem (can be used with the Kick extension if you still want to use 18650 batteries in the Roller).
It shuts down the circuit when the battery voltage is too low (I don't have a mutlimeter so I can't tell you what the voltage cutoff point is). I presume the circuit will have a current limiter and so give some level of protection, but I don't know for certain. I don't have a Kick to compare it with, but so far works very well for me. I guess the real test will be how long it lasts, but I have absolutely no quibbles with the performance to date. I did read a review a while back which implied it's performance was just as good as the Kick, and the Kick costs a lot more.

I have a Sigelei - Kick-a-like - have owned a Evolv Kick too - and just received a Super T Kicklet to use it with on me P+ 18500 - with an 18500 and screw on when i fancy a regulated/VW device - rather than change batteries - tho does make the P+ vamo sized when in use The PWM 'judder' (Rattlesnake) i'd noticed on previously using it in the P+ with an 18350 has gone - and in the Kicklet performing as the Evolv Kick did on me other devices. Occassionally i do hear the 'Rattlesnake' - but not particularly discernable in the Vape as yet - but only received the Kicklet about an hour ago Expecting the Sigelei Kicklet-a-like to appear next LoL

I have a Segelei kick but no real kick to compare. It shuts off at 3.2V (I know because when it shut off I popped the battery in my Vamo to test the battery power). No noises that I have noticed and works very well.

I emailed Segelei about this last week funnily enough, and for what it's worth they confirmed it had the same lower voltage cut out. Sorry, they didn't say at what voltage tho etc
Never had one myself but I've put my name down in the group buy ukric is doing for them on ECR as I thought I'd give it a bash

So far I'm very happy with the Sig Kick. It vapes well. I have not noticed any strange noises myself, but I suspect much will depend on what power settings you use - and perhaps the resonant properties of whatever mod you use it in.

As it comes - but dropped into the Kicklet - so aside from taking the top off the unit, if i want to adjust the setting - no need to touch it again

I'm using it as supplied, though I guess you could easily shrink wrap it if you wanted to. I can't find the original review that I read, but in that review they did refer to an occasional 'insect-like' noise coming out of it. I have been using it for about 9 days so far, and I haven't heard that noise to date. As there is no readout I don't know precisely what power setting I'm using, but I tend to vape at between 7 and 9 watts on my other devices. It may be that the Sigelei gets noisy at, say, max output (10 watts).
I not 100% certain, but I think they reviewed the Mk 1 version - I believe current production is the Mk 2, so they may have revised the circuit somewhat?
As I said only time will tell whether is was a good buy, but at the moment I'm completely happy with mine.

Will have to do a proper battery life test on the Kick-a-like - think it may reduce battery life more then a i remember the Kick doing - will check this out later tonight and post more later
