Updated list of vendors selling nic base ?

Prompted by reading the post that 28 vapeslater have decided to stop selling nic base after the Royal Mails decision to make it bloody awkward for them to do so.(seems so negative on Royal Mails part to just put a ban on items as they have on carrying, rather than seeing the opportunity for ever growing online sales of liquids, batteries etc and how it will affect their profits).

 I was wondering a) any other suppliers following suit and b) any possibility of an updated vendors list of who will still be stocking nic base after the 15th and an outline of delivery system used.?

It's not Royal Mail's decision Rich, just to clarify the situation . . . it's new Transport Regulations that are being introduced for toxic substances, so all carriers will be similarly affected.

They can still be sent providing it's via a Recorded Delivery means, so we'll all have to be prepared to pay a little more if we'd like our Vendors to continue supplying us, we can't realistically expect them to absorb this increased cost.

I think we're going to have to suck it and see for a little while, to see how it all pans out before there's any list updating, no one is entirely certain of how this will work in practice.

I did think it was RM but on a brighter note its at least in the suppliers interest to work round this.

Sending it by Recorded Delivery will only mean you know it got there. The juice/nic base still travels with the normal post and is not tracked in between posting and delivery.

I think vendors will have to use special delivery as those items are kept completely separate from normal post and are tracked at every postal stage.

have any opinions been mentioned anywhere about ordering from abroad (i.e. nicvape) ?? had a look but can't see anything..so I'm going to e-mail them today and will report back any info they can give

There's a couple of the guys who are awaiting orders from Rich GJ . . . I think we're all waiting to see how they fare.

I am also waiting for 1ltr from Nicvape. Hopefully as it was dispatched before the 15th it should be OK.

On monday(days off and wayyy to hectic just now)Ill write to each supplier and ask not for commitment but intent ("we hope to continue/no we will cease to continue)

Ill post here as a starting point to smooth over the new regs (which i clearly misunderstood)

I appreciate the intention Rich, however I think we will all have to have a little patience before expecting most Vendors, other than Carrie to make a statement of any kind.

This is new territory . . . alternative delivery measures, if there are to be any, don't happen overnight. Similarly if decisions are made to discontinue any lines, they may take a little soul searching.

I should imagine our Vendors are feeling under pressure enough, without us adding to it immediately.

Vapescape :Jason has posted this morning on AAEC and he expects business as normal with a some increase in carriage costs(Please note that carriage cost increases are expected from all vendors and perfectly understandable.)


Health e vape.co.uk have posted the following on their facebook page
ROYAL MAIL - aswell as several other couriers will not be taking taking e liquid - As from monday 15th july we have had alot of emails from customers

Please DONT worry and please DONT panic buy !

We have setup alternative door to door next day delivery courier service for uk and A 2-3 DAY courier service to anywhere in europe so we will for SURE 100% be sending e liquid as normal

28Vapes : As already mentioned by Carry,28 vapeslater will not be stocking nic base but are most Definately continuing with concentrates and all other areas of their business.

there's more than two sides... why don't RM challenge the new rulings, they have the power to do so.
