icon_shoppingm Bought a SS Vamo from Zainy nearly 3 months ago, Cannot attach ANY atty now, no atty 'bites' into the connector, truly gutted! I contacted Ainy, she said they'd repair it.as long as I sent it 'International Signed For' to China but after postage calculations £5.50 + £4.50 - I decided not to take up her offer. Has any fellow board members had similar experience?, ie Vamo unusable after 80 days. Cheers Mike

Yes, others have had this problem, the connector metal is a bit soft.

Cheapest would be to repair it yourself with a 510 to ego adapter and a nut. Else I would take up Zainy's offer.
Even sending it locally will cost you that much in postage both ways + cost of parts.

If you want a vamo thread to last, you could screw an adaptor onto it when you get it, then screw into the adaptor after that. It will look a bit silly, but it will make it last longer. It does seem a little silly that adaptors have threads made from better metal than a vamo! Or buy a provari

I have replaced 2 Vamo top-caps. Really they are dead easy to do if you can manage a little soldering. The other option is to get an EGO or 510/510 adapter and wind some plumber's tape around the threads, screw it into your Vamo and leave it on. www.stealthvape.co.uk/e-cigarette-accessories/ecig-adapters
