Got back today after a few days in Italy staying with my mate there. This is where we were last Sunday: and so was he: A great evening, considering I was by no means a fan (the things you do for your friends!) but after that I am at least a partial convert. Sorry the second photo is a bit blurry - any guesses? Shouldn't be too difficult

Well spotted that man - it was indeed Leonard Cohen and it was in the Olympic tennis stadium in Rome. I hope I've still got that much energy when I'm 78! Not sure I have now to be honest

Excellent! I saw Leonard when he played at Edinburgh Castle a few years ago. A wonderful occasion

I found a slightly (!) better photo taken that night: If you get the chance, well worth seeing him in concert, even if, like me, you were not a fan of his. He certainly lives up to his promise at the beginning of the concert to "give you all we've got". He did three hours with one 20 minute break!
