I can see that more watts would equal shorter battery life, and so batteries will need charging more frequently. However is it generally understood that it also tends to use e-juice faster too? I can imagine it might, but I would really like a more solid answer than just relying on my own newbie like thoughts on it!

Yes it certainly uses more juice the more power you put through the coil.

More watts = more power = more heat = more evaporation = more juice use

Thanks both, I felt it was likely but was not 100% certain it was the case!

Because its working closer to an optimum you could also say its working better. It will deliver more juice, more nic and more satisfaction per second. So overall your consumption of juice could in theory drop, however its nice so most people will consume more juice and nicotine than before. Personally I like higher watts so much I reduced to 12-13 mg/ml of nic allowing me to chug on an apv almost continuously.

So next to the mixology section to see about making my own caramel, as I can't afford this at all at the prices I am faced with. I see what you are saying but it will not fit a budget the shape of mine. I accidentally got 8mg Juice and using that full time would cost more than smoking rollies ever did - expensive mistake that one!

If you can afford to buy in bulk then homebrew works out at less than £1 a day even if its never put down.
