Bit of a side note and a heads up for you: I bought an i2 a week or two back to carry some extra load when my xtar VP1 is full up. Now I am sure the nitecore is behaving normally for one of them, but it has got a 0.5 amp charge rate and to be honest I feel it's a bit more harsh with the cells than my xtar VP1, as that can get down to 0.25 amp and also does 1.0 amp and 0.5 amp as well as 0.25 amp. Certainly all cells were noted to become clearly warm when charging in the i2, (even a nitecore branded one I tried in there) and I've been given to understand that cells last longer if treated a bit more gently. So for carrying extra load once in a while then they are probably fine, maybe, but for main stream everyday charging I would not be able to feel comfortable recommending the i2 to another. Hope the extra info helps.

Just be sure you like iClear tanks, as it's clearly designed to promote the use and sale of those. A limited number of others can fit but the motive for the design is pretty (i)Clear. Yeah, for sure it is a concern that it has limitations with regards tanks. Also, I'm not sure if yours were inclusive, but the one I'm looking at doesn't come with batteries or charger, which to include them would increase the price from £59.99 to £97.38 hmmm I did not buy any Innokin stuff so far, first up the puff counter obsession they have or had was a deal breaker, then if I wanted to buy the mod without any of their atomizers well, that option was not available either at the time, which was another deal breaker. I felt like I was being herded, not like I was making a purchasing decision of my own. After a while it nagged away at me enough that I decided to look into it and try to see what was really going on and realised that pretty much all of their mods come with not just one but two atomizers. I felt sure if they felt they needed to ship two of them with everything they sold, then either they must be unreliable in some way, or they wanted to indicate maybe even underline that they were consumables. It may also be that they wanted higher sales figures for the clearos they make, including two with every mod would be a way to make their clearo appear more popular than it really is I guess, but not sure where that would really get them. Just shows the various aspects I felt it worth considering I suppose. It was then that I saw it for what it is; it's the printer cartridge model, but adjusted to vape. So they keep coming out with mods (like printers), and they aim to make their profits mostly from the consumables (like ink and toner). I have not always been pleased to buy printers and the cartridges, and felt having anything like that experience involved with my attempts to stay away form cigs was likely to prove a poor choice if I elected to make it. So, having genuinely thought about it, I went another route that I felt would probably suit my needs better, and have never looked back, often find myself smiling at new Innokin releases as they come along, and in my head is the thought "yet another nice try guys, next!" Good luck choosing your best fitting route!

some interesting comments Did not see that comment there just a minute ago, perhaps some eagle eyed mod over there recognised it as being spurious (or had it pointed out to them more likely) and ousted it! Many, many years ago it was feared that travelling in a horseless carriage at 30 mph. or more (including in trains) would mean that people and more specifically ladies would struggle to breath and therefore might faint all over the place!

Hmmmm... not sure about how smart it is, but it's not truly terrible either; would like to see more or less all things that lead to death restricted to 18+ only, and yes that includes war and childbirth! Imperfect you say, well hell yes, but at least it would be consistent, and that sounds like a step forward!

Clivia If you mean the semi translucent white cap, then no, it's there to make a good seal with the air tube above and stop juice getting into that and then into your mouth! I'm a bit rusty on protanks now, so it is possible that things may have changed from my time with them. A photo of the bit you are asking about would have helped too

You were not wrong guys! Thanks for the encouragement. It's taking time, but is so much easier when you have the device to hand and can see it making progress or not - well, sometimes does and sometimes not, but generally getting easier as it goes along! I have to say it's the only real issue I have with the thing, that and wishing the top cap was maybe one or two tenths of a millimetre or so taller, it's just a hair too thin to have a kayfun light plus on top and have it fully flush but also with the top cap screwed down fully to meet the tube, there's no more than the width of a bit of 0.20 kanthal gap one end or the other when I try. It is without doubt the best vape I have had from my kayfun, no more rattlesnake noises from the mod under it, just the flavour of the home made vape, presenting it in a totally clean and involving manner. What a knock out! Now to learn the menu so it can be second nature: I may be some time......

See my edit above. You really do need to have the V3 in your hands then all will become clear. Thanks. It's really good of you. It's not arrived yet and I already feel like a silly old man for having not researched enough, and to have trusted the makers too much. I guess I deserve the loss of the money, and I already regret buying it.

Yes, thanks, it's a very good video, and I certainly could not have done that or anything remotely like it. However when he gets to the menu system, he has some parts where he will say something, then correct himself and says words that are either indistinct or which he struggles to say, and which I can not guess at, and then the meaning he was trying to convey becomes lost sadly. I accept it's more to do with me probably, as I just do English and I'm not even used to accents from around the UK, never mind from around the world. I'm old enough to probably be a bit set in my ways, and I don't seem able to change even if I would like to. Lord knows I've tried and failed with this one so far. It's pretty frustrating as situations go. Oh well, maybe it will be easier if there is a device in front of me, would hopefully make more sense then.

Thanks very much for the link, it is to the one I have been wrestling with. It's not really 100% in English; just one small example, what is "Beispiel"? I'm sure that's not any sort of English. I just want to avoid causing any damage due to not being able to properly understand how it's supposed to be used. Some bits are easy to spot as errors, like the "Beispiel" example, however there's a lot of ambiguous bits and I can't know if they are errors or simply a less than decent grasp of English. What would one properly understand this to mean? "The APV is operated by pushing the button min. one time a second. During operation the button letters will be showed on the display." I know what it says, but it's awkwardly constructed and so it's not clear if it's to be trusted 100% or perhaps treated as a mistake, and if so, then how much mistaken is it and in what respect? It may not be the best example, simply one hastily chosen from dozens sprayed right through that manual. It's an unusual problem, as the majority of mods out there don't even have a manual in any language. I hope I have managed to convey the nature of the problem adequately?

Hi Folks, I've searched all over the net, and found videos explaining how to use the device, but not in ordinary English. Either they do not have very serviceable English, speaking accent with a trace of English, or they don't actually happen to be able to explain it in any useful manner so that I end up being able to understand it after several watches of the video. I am sure I could not do any better, but it seems to me that there must be a way to find out how to use one somewhere? Surely? Then there are documents, a pdf from SvoeMesto that says it's in English, but the translation is so poor they don't really convey how to use the device. There are others but they want me to pay for converting it into a PDF! I've seen the samples they tease with and they are not in normal English either. My problem is I guess that it is not in the English I was taught over half a century ago. At that time I was not given a choice in how English was done so it's not like I did not do my bit to learn English. It does seem odd that this one chip has defeated all attempts so far to say how it works in English! I've seen that reviews say the manual it comes with is in German only, if it is true, then that does not appear overly helpful. ??? Can anyone shed any light on how you can learn to use said device if you are only equipped to speak/read English? Are English people not supposed to buy one? I would admit to "somewhat bewildered" at this point! LOL
