Hi ckc the aluminium is sprayed in silver paint with a slight texture to it, looks very nice and won't tarnish obviously, cos it's paint

Go for it mate, for twenty odd quid its a bargain! I know a Vamo is the same price and it does exactly what it says on the tin, but this SID thingy does exactly the same without looking like a tribute to admiral lord nelson. 

I booked DHL cos my order was a hundred and odd quid, so another fiver was neither here nor there but then  I got stung for customs, (albeit les than it should've been) but i think in hindsight that china post it would have sailed through as usual.

I ended up getting an Kayfun Lite instead from another vendor, poochops. I have been waiting for it to come back into stock and when it did I just had to get it as soon as I saw it. The sale is on until August 18th though so I still have time if they don't sell out.

If it keeps hubby and I off the analogues then I think it is worthwhile poochops. I am sure we will save money in the long run though.... I think.

I've bought a Black & Silver from HC nurseygirl . . . then bought some 18350 tubes from Vaperus in Black & Purple, so that's me pretty well covered.

Trying to ignore the white one that they still have in stock.

I liked the pink or red but both are out of stock, so thinking of going for the black or silver and getting some evic tubes instead

This is very true . . . however having a very selective memory when it comes to stuff like boring old bank balances, is also something to cultivate Nurseygirl. Infact, if you spend your time shopping, then there's barely a moment to look at a bank statement.

My black SID has given up after a month. Can't get the screen options to come up and it's been misfiring. Tickets gone in but no reply as yet

I hope my white one lasts a bit longer.

That's really sad, ckc I hope they sort things out for you.

I had forgotten I had ordered a black SID. It arrived this morning and I didn't have a clue what it was. I like the feel of it. The texture is very different from the silver. I think hubby is now regretting not getting one too. I hope it lasts longer than a month.

kailey The SID lives Not sure what happened there but I left it for a few days whilst waiting for HC to get back to me,stuck a battery in and it worked ! Maybe it didn't like the Grants custard
