SVD Express kit?

Hi all, can anyone tell me why the full kit has 2 telescopic tubes and the express kit has 1 telescopic tube but both support all battery modes according to the manufacturers website

It's the different names they've given to the two kits as one includes the Iclear30 maybe Rich.

They both appear to contain the same device, just photographed differently?

The full SVD kit has an extra tube which is longer than the smaller telescopic tube. Using the longer tube is for 18650 batteries only (or 18350s stacked if you want) but the shorter tube will accommodate all batteries.
In 18650 mode, I think it looks a bit better using the long tube but that's just my opinion and it's subective.  I find it looks better balanced and it's nicer to hold.  As Perpetua mentioned, the full kit also comes with two iclear30s and 3 spare heads.

(edit - I don't have any 18500s so not sure if the long tube will be ok with them)

Yes i get that lemental but what i cant get my head around is both the full kit and the express kit that contain the same svd device, one kit comes with one tube and the other comes with two tubes but both kit descriptions state that they use 18350,18500 and 18650 is it me or is there a device/tube re-design with the later express kit. still

Only the full kit contains an additional longer tube, usage of which is optional. The longer tube isn't like the Vamo tube section to extend the device; you need to take off the smaller tube and use the long one instead.

I don't believe there is any redesign to the device or tube.

I think i've explained that properly!!!

Simple answer....yes :)but I also find the SVD is nicer to hold with the longer tube.  It wouldn't have mattered too much to me if I had bought the smaller kit but I wanted some iclear30s and spare heads anyway and the price difference wasn't much if I were to buy those separately.

My phone is playing up at the moment but when I get a chance, I'll take a couple of pictures in 18650 mode so you can see the difference.

Yes the express kit only has the small tube, it does fit for the 18650 batteries but it doesn't look as good as the one with the longer tube which is the full kit SVD....

Ahh great that helps a lot, im now glad i did not buy the express kit
