I know, bloody stupid of me, but I ordered a pack of 10 EVOD's for can't remember but it was not all that much. Results??? A pile of extra washing and a heap of bits I may or may not be able to use as spare parts.
I think I must have been sent a Friday afternoon (if they have such a thing) job lot. Over 50% leak!! The machining of the threads is horrendous to say the least, 2 of them (Pink and White) would not even screw down enough to give (what are laughably called O rings) an even chance of doing what O rings are supposed to do!!
I put each of the heads on the Vamo and found readings varying from 1.4 to an amazing 4.7 Ohms.
What annoys me the most though is the loss of quite a bit of my favorite Juice (Chefs Vapours Caramel Cappuccino) into my pocket all over my desk and the Centre Console of the car.
Will I send them back? No of course not ... Just not worth the hassle, but it will be a cold day in hell before I order from them again!!

The second o-ring definitely causes a lot of problems. If I were to take a guess, since I found one half-on this morning, I think it's a leftover from the top o-ring that gets pushed down for some reason. Definitely try taking it off. I also found the machining on some of the bases a little stiff, but they still all work. Just sounds like bad luck

At the risk of a "yes, but" response... I know vaping gear can appear expensive as an initial outlay, but it's still a damn site cheaper than smoking. And most clones are pants, so stick with originals where you can. I learned my lesson with cloned mini novas - never again!

I think the 10-pack Evod deal is still a bargain as you can just buy spare bases and heads if required and still come out on top financially. Plus, I LOVE the white one, it looks dead snazzy on my black Spinner, and I've just ordered a white Spinner from Health Cabin to go with it Been using mine for a couple of weeks now, aside from the o-ring debacle, no problems at all. Time will tell however!

Don't get me wrong! Compared to the amount of fags I have crushed/trashed/lost over the years (I once took part in a Beach Assault forgetting I had stowed 200 Marlboro in my kit. The sea water got into 80% of the packets!! Gutted and fagless for 36 hrs!!!) the cost is minimal.
I will mix and match the parts and have no doubt will end up with a few useable ones. What really annoyed me was the loss of so much of my favorite Juice!! I have been mixing my own (Shhh don't tell the Chefs) but have not come close to their recipe, at least their income is assured for a bit longer.
Onwards and Upwards!!

I've only used FT ' Evod ' heads so far in my genuine ones . . . gave them a denture tab bath, left to dry and they're behaving as they should. Plus the couple I've tried are reading spot on at 1.8ohm's, so if you did get some Evod bodies, then those heads will fit WB. * I'd have been devastated at the loss of 200 ciggies. *

What denture tab bath do you use? I looked at the shops but couldn't see what to get. Also read bi carb works to? Mine tastes rank at the minute but seem to work okay and was impressed with the standard next to my genuine ones. Maybe I got lucky?

Yeah, it's the base that's the main problem with them, most of mine only had two air holes too, heads and tanks work fine on genuine bases, although not quite as well, which is how I'm using them up. I have 75 genuine coils and extra bases coming from Health Cabin though. We pretty much knew they were copies from the outset and I prepared myself for disappointment but the price of them was worth a gamble and I have a nice collection of pretty coloured tanks to match all my batteries now . Edit : Yes Jen I'm a huge fan of the white one too, something about the white rubbery waxy finish to it, looks really nice against shiny also.

Ordinary Bicarbonate of Soda will work Nott, I use Tesco cheap n cheerful denture tabs as they're easy to sling in my trolley when I do the shopping. www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=261138392www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=261138416A vodka soak could also do the job, though I haven't tried it and would rather be glugging the voddie than using it for soaking stuff. Bicarb of soda doesn't have the same gluggabilty appeal somehow.

I bought a ten pack of their Evods. I must be lucky as I only had a minor problem with the blue one leaking and MR Dolly fiddled with it and it works perfect now. No probs with any of the others.
