I was looking at the ingredients in a well known brand of NRT, that make a quick mist NRT spray.
It surprised me in fact, but also seems to demonstrate that e cig vapour may be less worrying to inhale than even the current NRT on the market.
Here is a list of ingredients in each....i know which one i would prefer to inhale
NRT Spray Propylene Glycol Anhydrous Ethanol Trometamol Poloxamer 407 Glycerol Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate Levomenthol Flavours Sucralose Acesulfame Potassium Hydrochloric Acid Water Nicotine
E Liquid Propylene glycol Glycerine Water Flavour Nicotine

I've flagged this up before gauraIt's a totally absurd state of affairs at the moment you may want to edit your post to include nicotine in the ingredients of the NRT spray

Whilst I agree with you entirely, I have some quick mist and it's not supposed to be inhaled, just sprayed into the mouth.
Not that I rate it in any way or found/find it even worth using.

But, what is in the foul tasting NRT Inhalator, whose name suggests it should be inhaled? The inhalator appears to only contain nicotine and menthol, that is all that is mentioned on the pack. There is no throat hit though. There is 15mg of nicotine held in a porous plug in the cartridge. No fancy mechanism, you simply inhale the fumes from that. But its odd because it is definitely the nicotine in e cig vapour that gives the throat hit, as no nicotine e liquid has no throat hit. They recommend sucking on it for periods of 10 mins at a time. Each 15mg cartridge lasts 40 mins of inhaling. The nicotine is absorbed thorugh the lining of the mouth, so i guess it is tiny droplets being sucked in, that never reach the back of the throat at all. Whereas the ecig vapour disperses the nicotine enough within the vapour, to be able to reach the back of the throat when inhaled.

The New Zealand study found that most of the nicotine in eliquid vapour wasn't actually absorbed by the lungs but by the upper respiratory tract, pretty much the same place that mist is going to hit. But, what is in the foul tasting NRT Inhalator, whose name suggests it should be inhaled? There isn't a point really, let's face it. Horrible stuff and t.b.h. if I have no choice but to use some sort of NRT, then a patch wins. I think it is nothing more than an opportunity to fleece desperate people. If we were ever in any doubt that the Pharma' companies win, then the patch story tells it all. I discovered an American patch which is priced at £49.99 for 14 patches (2 weeks worth). Costs less than $2 to make and box. I think patches could be made and sold for less than £4 per week, but people that can/will use them are expected to pay £16 or so. It is nothing short of criminal.

It is interesting to see what is in the nrt spray v eliquid. I think I saw it somewhere else on here but didn't know what I was looking at really when I first started vaping.
Well , I have another question, and it may sound daft. I think most of my questions are daft but meaning as I don't know and would like to know, I will ask anyway. When you exhale , when vaping, will there be any nicotine in the vapour that is floating around ?

I still vape outdoors as I did when smoking, when my grandchildren are here but find I vape more and more inside when they have gone home. So it made me wonder about the nicotine.
