Well, had my last proper cigarette on Tuesday, and last night was my fist drinking session since. How did I do?
Well, we had a couple friends come round, and they were intrigued. Well one of them was. So much so, she stole my blister pack battery and a evod full of cherry for the evening. It didn't stop her from smoking altogether but she did smoke less than usual.
BUT, how did I do?
Well, it was difficult. It was a good 13 hour drinking session (I don't mess about apparently, lol). Started off with a BBQ at 14:00 and finished at around 03:00. The 01:30 BBQ was awesome though. BBQ-in in the middle of the night, in pitch blackness was difficult, but it worked out okay. Anyway, a marathon session indeed, full of punch and beer and cocktails. It was messy.
I would usually have skinned a good 20 cigs at such a session (last weekends session proved this well). Tally of real cigs last night? 0.
That said, I was pretty much vaping all night. Like constantly all night. I swapped out my day e-juice as that stuff is 36mg/ml, and slugged a low 11 mg/ml all night. Hit around 1.5-2.0 ml over the course of the night, and flattened my Vamo battery (18650) flat out. It is now charging, so resorting to the blister battery instead just now.
Anyway, coulda done with a real cig this morning, but I persevered. Pretty happy with myself to be honest.

Well done. The biggest booze-a-thon I went on I struggled badly. Not helped by 10mg Artic lemon. (24mg Turkish would have been better)

xs2man - that's a stern challenge you faced, and you came out with sweet-smelling breath and flat batteries - well done! Andy

Yeah, it was tough.
I'll tell you what though, I'm surprised I didn't lose more juice. On more than a couple occasions I was trying to swap out the flavour, and removed the atomiser (I think it's called) from the evod, so just the tank bit really, leaving the rest stuck on the vamo / battery. Luckily they were almost empty at the time, but had to go get out the long nose pliers to remove the atomiser part from the Vamo. PITA. I don't suppose there are any good (or any) tanks / clearomisers with a left hand thread? So they tighten when you try to remove them? I could see clumsy me getting covered in e-liquid constantly.

Well done you. That's no mean feat after such a short time vaping.

I could see clumsy me getting covered in e-liquid constantly. that would be an eminently sensible design, unfortunately not heard of any such tanks. Or you could try one of these, which has an extra bottom section to lock the carto into it, watch the busardo review which shows you how... www.vapegear.co.uk/product/agror one ragjoy linked to earlier, endorsed by karma (but not for your first tank):- www.vapistsvapourizers.co.uk/Trap-Tank_by_Kir_Fanis/p1436124_6700363.aspx

Well done, A little tip, don't screw anything tightly onto your battery, in particular a vamo The insulator on the positive connection is easily damaged.

X2 I managed to spill a couple of times when I first started but you will get used to it quite fast. No need to worry just be a happy vaper :-) Well done though, I was at a BBQ on Saturday and one of the guys is an evil ex smoker, wouldn't leave my kit alone all night and never think to buy his own though (not a problem now as peanuts are more expensive)

Massive result! Well done to you. I struggle on occasions such as this even 8 months in, I did have a small cigar a few weeks back, yummy! You should get several of these for your after dark sessions

Thanks guys.
They do look pretty cool raid2506. Think I have probably spent enough for just now though. 6 days in and circa £45 saved according to my sig. Only £200 spent though. So still got a little while to go before I'm financially better off, lol. Once I hit that threshold, I'll start spending again. Well, I'm about to pull the trigger on a few evods from healthcabin since they are such a good price just now, and am toying with the idea of a Smoktech SID too while they are also on offer.

I just don't enjoy vaping when drinking booze, and actually look forward to buying a pack of fags on route to the pub or when going off license. I can however leave a half smoked packet all week in the kitchen cupboard and not want to smoke.
