She is Collie, but I can't watch her - all that shrieking must be so off putting for her opponents.
Cracking match between Nadal v Del Potro on atm - gripping stuff!

Not Sharapova didn't Collie . . . I forget the names of the girlies that did, but it wasn't her. I like her alright, but the noise she makes! Just Googled to find out - Marion Bartoli ( France ) beat Serena and Tsvetana Pironkova ( Bulgaria ) beat Venus . . . Google is a wonderful thing!

I thought she beat one of them to win the title at Wimbledon a few years ago? Ah yes wikipedia. In 2004 she beat Serena to win her first grand slam at the age of 17. Serena was the 2 time defending champion when she beat her.

I just remember sitting there and watching it and thinking wow! She was a relative newcomer as well and she beat the twice defending champion and broke the William's sisters winning streak at Wimbledon.

My past memories of Wimbledon are rather Bjorn Borg related I must confess Collie . . . I used to drool over him and have never forgiven John McEnroe for defeating him. . . . he's now 52, where did those years go to!

I met Ilie Nastase when he opened the new tennis centre at my high school. Really nice guy.
