Hi guys, I am new to the forum and relatively new to vaping ( 2 months ). I have tried several different flavours from several different manufacturers during my search for the magic vape and the only two that I have found so far that meet my idea of vaping bliss are Grizwald's Menthol Tabac and Grizwald's Whiskey Cream. I am very interested in getting into diy mixing and looking for recipes that comes close to either or both of my requirements. Any help with this request would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

Hello and welcome! We do have some of Grizwald's recipes here: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/12015/aae-members-eliquid-recipe-collectionDon't think those are on it though. I've never tried those, but experimentation is part of the joy of mixing, so it sounds like you need a tobacco flavour, some menthol and a whiskey cream flavour along with some of the condiments like sweetener and maybe dulche de leche. Maybe someone else has tried recreating them?

Hi Jen , thanks for your reply. Rather than order a lot of flavourings ( I am trying to save money hence the diy mixing), I am hoping to get a complete recipe that even comes close these and then buy in the required flavours. Thanks for your welcome to the forum and input to this thread.

Yeah, we all start out like that...I did. Wanted to make a lemon meringue pie to rival the Alchemist's one. I still haven't managed it but I do now have 100+ flavourings and a rather nice bunch of favourite homemade juices Barring anyone having specific experience, I'd say get 1-5 tobacco flavours, some menthol crystals from Boots/ebay you can dilute in some PG, and maybe 3 different Whiskey Cream flavourings as they can vary wildly between flavouring houses. Then mix up some experiments and enjoy the process - there's nothing quite like sampling an initial mix and it turning out vapeable, even delicious I know it's not what you asked for but it's the best I can do! Edit: You can also check out www.thevapebook.com/ for more recipes, and if you download the EJMU calculator, that comes with some recipes too

Thanks for the heads up on all these great recipe books. I will spend some time going through them and hopefully find what I am looking for but knowing me I will end up buying about a 100 flavours and trying out as many recipes. However as the Stones say "you can't always get what you want but if you try sometime you just might find you get what you need"

Our Rom is pretty good at recreating specific flavours, he's due back from holiday fairly soon. So they could be projects for him to help get over the post holiday blues.

It's more if you ask me FF . . . I've a shed load of flavours that I've still yet to use, purely because I like the names of them.

May as well FF . . . it's always going to happen anyway. This is about a third of what I have . . . haven't dared get everything all together in one place for a time now. I'd frighten myself!

I think we should be out and proud, Perps, not in the mixing closet! But yeah, once you've been bitten by the mixing bug, there's no going back! Gotta have the stones for it...and the bank account!
