Help !!!!! Am back on stinkies when having a beer !!!!!!

Hi All,

been vaping for a while now, but have found myself really struggling with it as late, especially when I have a beer (which to be honest is most days lol)

being trying to find a flavour or 6 that I can mix and match to try and keep me going on the vape.....have found two.....the main problem comes when I'm at the pub, fruit flavours don't really work with lager and haven't found a tobacco flavour I like.

have bought some sample packs and found a couple of flavour that get me thought the day ????but nothing that hits the spot quite right at other times.

suppose I am looking for some advise, flavour wise that are a bit different or asking if other people found this when they started and how they got round it i suppose.

just worried that I will go back to the dark side full time if I'm not careful

I don't drink very often but when I do I found a really nice menthol goes with a drink quite nicely. It was so nice I had to drink more

I know what you mean. I tend to vape baccy flavour juices most of the time, and they do go well with a good pint.

Try some home mixing? I just posted three mix recipes in the Mixology section that are tobacco based, and which work well for me as all day vapes - including with a drink. When I'm not drinking, I like coffee flavours, but they don't seem to go so well with booze to me. If you don't want to go the home-mixing route, try some of the Pipe Sauce (Longbottom Leaf, Shire Malt, Oak Barrel Cider etc.) range - they work in the pub for me

+1 for Long Bottom Leaf - I don't like baccy flavours, but that one is really nice. Big, rounded and rich, should go well with the ale

I go for a drink up to three times weekly & i take a tobacco flavour & a licorice /aniseed mix flavour & that works for me, my nephew who was quite a heavy smoker swears by RY4 & a spinner or other vv device to crank it up when a little bit more is needed, or, have you tried upping the nic strength to take away the cravings & re-awaken that willpower that stopped you smoking originally & started you vaping

not one I have tried yet, however read the reviews and sounds interesting. Is it one of those baccy flavours that smells / tastes of biscuits as I am not keen on them?

No, it's more nutty with a hint of chocolate and underlying tobacco flavour to me. Not too sweet, either. It's not my favourite, as I'm much more into fruits etc. and also find them fine for going to the pub with, but it's a very sophisticated flavour. One of those you should be vaping in a big leather chair in front of a fire whilst the butler brings you crustless sandwiches on a silver platter

I don't get a biscuit taste from it - it's hard to describe - nothing like a stinkie, more of a pipe tobacco flavour with a subtle sweetness to it.

Awww.... djs, you beat me to it, I wanted to get in there with a 'Man up!'.


Tom it's probably the long standing association you have made between beer, pub and fags.

I would suggest a higher nic baccy flavour for the pub, or cut back on the pub and train yourself at home until you associate beer more with vaping.

For me changing my brand of beer worked, I found it easier to have the two new things work together.
