Another ex cigar smoker here. I use 24mg or (mainly) 36mg as I vape the same way I smoked i.e. just the occasional puff, but I like a big hit when I do. I also soon found that I needed a reasonable amount of power which means for me a 2 ohm or less 'miser with 4+ volts going into it.

Hi and welcome smokefreewannabee! As you're on liqua juices at the mo, I can highly recommend their Turkish Tobacco which at 24mg is quite close to a cigar IMHO. Normally we use 18mg sweet flavours but when we feel the need for a proper blast of nic and throat hit, this does the job well! Plus it stinks, but not in a bad way

Thought I should post an update after the kind words of advice.
The Ego kit turned up on Friday and I haven't smoked a cigar since...I kept one emergency cigar and that went in the bin this morning.
It seems to be permanently glued to my face but I haven't thought too much about smoking cigars since other than the weird feeling walking past cigarette counter at the supermarket...
I'm sold on the vaping and whilst it's only been a few days I can't see myself going back to analogues. Just need to fine tune the vaping now. Seem to get a burning taste sometimes not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong on filling or my taste buds are waking up after a long rest ?

Sfw i have read on here never to let the juice i fall below 0.8 on the clearo, also as you are using the pv just keep swooshing the juice around to keep the wicks from drying, another tip (not sure if you know or not) is to let your clearos stand for 15-20 mins after filling for the juice to soak the wicks, i always refill before going to bed then they have all night to soak

Another thing is; try to take slower, longer pulls in the e-cig, fill your mouth with vapour and inhale the mouthful rather than directly inhaling like you would a stinkie. You may be pulling on it quicker than the liquid can wick to the coil, that will give you a burnt taste.

I was 20 a day café crème smoker and as a ex cigarette smoker I did inhale the smoke so as you stated cigars are a lot stronger so finding a satisfying vape is difficult. I started on 18mg of nicotine and although I vape more than I smoked it works for me. What I cant find is a e-juice in cigar flavour that comes anywhere close to the real thing ( open to suggestions ) so I'm using more of the menthol or fruit flavours but one things for sure, I wont go back to smoking cigars again.

Hi Gazza (& smokefreewannabee) I too am trying to lose the café crème habit and new to this vaping lark but I have found that a mixture of RY4 and cappuccino (about a ratio of 4 parts RY4 and 1 part cappuccino but play around with it as the longer you have the bottle of juice the more intense the coffee flavouring is) & it has come close but ensure you keep a separate clear/cartomiser for it as I still haven't managed to clear the coffee flavouring from the wick as yet I am only using 16mg strengths of both (I might need to increase that) as I vape a lot but that is still better than the old cigars - just the habit one's I need to get rid of :-D And if you do as I did and buy a large cappuccino flavour that looks like will last for several years (rookie error!) then mixing that with Vanilla Ice Cream juice is good too!

Hello buddy my advice to you, is to get a flavour e liquid that appeals to you (you can get cigar flavoured) and get a couple 5 or 10ml bottles of varying strength to see which one suits your taste. I hope I've been helpful in any way All the best, Ben
