That ought to be enough to remove whatever is stopping it wicking. Have you any bicarbonate of soda, as a spoon full of that wouldn't hurt as well.

Well so far not so good, in fact it tastes awful :-\!
Maybe it needs another rinse. Shouldn't do seeing as it has no chemicals. The wick was fully soaked in e liquid so that is not the bad taste. It pretty much tastes like the wick smells if that makes sense.

Maybe needs some ' running in ' Timbo, I didn't get a funky taste with mine must admit . . . just found it burnt rather quickly if I wasn't careful. What flavours are you using?

I took the coil out, I am going to wait for the wick to properly dry out. I put the last wick in the microwave to dry it off a bit on the one I coiled yesterday. The wick smells a bit more now it has been in soak.
I was using some Cherry flavor liquid. I shall report back when I give it another go.
