Welcome.
I know what you mean about some of these sweet flavours being an all day vape. I feel that too. So I went and bought a selection of tobacco flavours to try out, and, to be honest, they are all rank. Not feeling the tobacco flavours at all.
So with that in mind, I would also like to find an all day vape that isn't too sweet. Just now I am vaping Paradise Vapours Irn Brew as my all day vape, and it is actually doing well. I also have a mint candy, which while sounding very sweet, isn't actually that bad.
I enjoyed the vanilla flavour in the skycig pack I started out on, but I have a couple vanillas here that just aren't quite hitting the spot though. Fine for a wee blast, but not as a regular vape. Same with a lot of the flavours I have tried to be honest. I got a cheesecake through the post this morning, and had to try it out. Again, not too bad for an occasional vape, but couldn't slug it all day. And it really does taste like cheesecake, which is a weird experience.
I find the cherry good too, not as an all day vape, but it is more pleasant for longer than many of my other flavours.
So far, I'm just boring, and Irn Brew / Mint Candy for me. Will obviously have to try more, but I think I'm gonna just get my mix on rather, and set myself up for dripping instead until I find what works for me. There is a very good thread on here with over 100 pages mostly full of recipes.
I am intrigued by the Bobbas Bounty, despite it being a tobacco flavour, but it's so darned expensive...

Aw, come on now, Pete, they can't *all* be rank Nicolites' bog-standard tobacco flavour has been an unexciting and generic but acceptable vape that's been my exclusive diet since January. I understand why the cognoscenti spit at the mention of the name, but I've tasted worse; if my first exposure to ecigs had been, say, Go-Lites, I would certainly not have converted with such enthusiasm, and I might not have converted at all. So, credit where it's due. My current thinking (that is, over the last hour!) is that I'll pick up 30ml of something very, very mainstream, like RY4, and a handful of samples of others. If I really don't get along with RY4 as it is, I'll put it aside and tweak it later in my soon-to-be-awesome mixing laboratory. Meanwhile I'll drip my way through the samples, and see what takes my fancy. BTW, I had your blog already open in another browser window when you posted. Haven't finished reading what's there yet, but thumbs up for a promising start. I'm an old hand at blogging. Started in 2001. Haven't posted in over a year, though, and so far there's no vape related material on there. That might change soon, though. I'll post a link if and when I get around to writing something relevant.

Hello & welcome, remnant. The fun is in the juice trying, not just the shineyitis & if you're planning having a mixing lab, go look at the mixology section & it might be up & running sooner than you've planned.

Well, I have (All Hangsen flavours): Tobacco, RY4, RY6, Gold & Silver and Rainbow (meant to be Lambert & Butler). In all fairness though, I have only actually vaped the Gold & Silver and it was rank. I smelled all the others though, and they all smelled equally as rank. I will set myself up for dripping and check out the others, but until then, I'm gonna go with my original conclusion. Rank. I certainly wouldn't be buying 30ml of the stuff. I got 10ml of it and think that's too much. I now have 50ml of tobacco flavoured vape that will only be broken out in dire emergencies when all my nice stuff is scooped. To be fair though, I didn't actually mind the taste of the tobacco skycigs. But then I have now been ruined by what lovely flavours I can vape, so Tobacco is an unlikely choice now. Thanks for the comment on the blog. Looking forward to reading whatever you put up, from someone who is actually a blogger, lol. BTW, my name isn't actually Pete. I just picked that name from Ghostbuster and modified it for vaping.

Hello Marc and a big vapey Well done on packing in the cigs after 40 years ain't it a great feeling when it hits you that you just don't want or need them anymore Well, i love tobacco flavours RY4 is very nice, but Liqua Traditional Tobacco, and Hangsen Deluxe Tobacco are 2 of the best i've tried, i love 'em. If you don't mind the wait, Fasttech do the Liqua, Vaporbreak do the Hangsen

I'm prepared to believe that in the case of the L&B, rank may have been what they were going for. That is pretty much my recollection of them, around 1974. Not as rough as Embassy Regal - but let's not venture down that path, eh? If you're getting clean away from tobacco and all its flavrz, fair enough and good luck with it. I'm thinking of sneaking up on myself, stepping my nic level very slowly downward, until eventually (one of my very favourite adverbs, so optimistic!) it's just not there anymore. It's a theory, and I'm sure it isn't original, and it might just not happen. That can be okay too. Also, I think it's a bit late to be claiming your name isn't Pete *now*, don't you think, Pete?

Ha ha. Probably (on the Pete front). It's actually Stewart (which is where the S2 comes from in my username, as in Stu). Pete Vapeman was really from the Ghostbuster character, Peter Vakeman. But I digress.
I personally didn't find the tobacco flavours to taste anything like the cigarettes I was smoking. To be fair though, my brand did change depending on where they were bought. For example, when I travel abroad for work, which I do quite a lot, I usually buy B&H from Duty Free. But this might not last the whole trip.
If I have to pay UK prices, it's usually Richmond or Sovereign. Sometimes there is no getting away from American crap though, and you have to go with Camel / Marlboro / West. And even worse, when I'm in China, I usually go for a pack with a Panda on them (China is strange, you can pay anywhere from 10p per pack to £10 per pack, and I notice just about no difference in taste, I guess the 10p ones will kill you quicker though, so I usually settle around £1 - £1.50 per pack).
Anyway, I wouldn't find myself sneaking down the nic levels with tobacco flavours necessarily. I think I would just give up vaping if I'm completely honest, as it just doesn't taste the same to me. But it is a good plan trying to wean yourself off the nic. I personally have no real desire to, but then I had no real desire to quit smoking either. Just gave this a try to see what the craic was.
I would personally advise to get a few small sample bottles. Can't remember who, but someone on here is doing samples bottles at £1.49 a go. Get a few different tobacco flavours from them, and see for yourself. Some people like them, I personally don't. And I do enjoy very much a real cigarette taste.
