Hi,
Been doing some mixing with new VG Nic Base 72mg.-100ml
When I decantered, some of the Nic base into a plastic bottle, it was so thick.
I've noticed, some of my mixes are causing ,some of my coils to being gunked up very quickly
The previous VG Nic base I previously had- wasnt gloopy ,as this one.
IF I added some AG ,to the Nic base. would it lower the 72mg?
I am PG allergic,so I'm using AG to cut the nic down to 18mg.
Any suggestions?
Cheers
Mike

If you add anything to the nic base, it will lower the nic strength. Perhaps cut it to 52mg then you have a known strength and a thinner more workable base?

oh, should have mentioned - that won't stop your coils getting gunked up as you still have the same amount of base in there. I get through a coil every week or so in my silica attys with what i mix at 50 to 80% vg. I hear sweeter flavour will also gunk up your wick faster. I just live with the way it is, i quite like vaping a fresh coil and look forward to it - like my monthly bath

Cheers Mike Mike, It could be that the VG in your previous Nic Base was already cut (watered down). If you are using VG Nic base and VG dilutant, then it will be about 75VG/25PG (assuming you use 25% flavourings that are normally PG based. If the final mix is too thick, factor a few drops of "pure" water or Vodka into the mix. Regards Kev

Yin dee krap Mike,
You can add as much or as little as you want, I usually dilute my pure 100% VG by 10%, from experience I know this is good for my thick VG. I then dont dilute any more, as the PG etc in my mix is enough to thin it to the correct levels.
For your own mixes you can just suck it an see... if its still too thick, add a bit more.
It is slightly different when producing to an exact PG/VG Ratio and mg strength as every drop has an effect.
