vamo charging

OK I've ordered a vamo are all chargers the same for the batteries or do some charge faster, if so what should I be looking for. Also is there different mahgm the batteries

Yes, and some have different settings, the one I linked to takes the guess work out of it and adjusts the charge to suit the different capacity of the battery

They where out of stock but found it on vape it uk cost just under £20.00 delivered thanks for the name though looks a good charger. I just charged my 650 up on the charger that came with it not bad lol 11 hours lol

I originally had a Trustfire TR001 charger. It was pants. Took well over 12 hours to charge a single 18650, and even then, it didn't really ever turn the light on it green. It did cope much better with the 18350's though, and seemed to charge them to full in a few hours. So fine if your running 18350 batteries, not so much for the 18650's.

Anyway, I have since bought a Nitecore i4 intellicharger : www.torchdirect.co.uk/batteries-and-chargers/nitecore-intellicharge-i4-li-ion-ni-mh-battery-charger.html

You can choose EU or US adaptor, and whether or not you want a car charger.  I went EU with car charger, just in case I go on extended driving holidays, lol.  However I doubt I would actually use it.  But I do work in the EU a lot anyway.

Well I bought one of these to and have put 4 Duracell AA recharge ones in and it's taking hours just to do these is that normal

I haven't tried AA's in any of my "big" chargers if I'm honest. Are you referring to the Trustfire or the Nitecore charger?

I can't imagine the Nitecore taking too long as it charges my 18350's super quick, but they are only 1200mah. My 18650's do take longer, but they are 3400 mah. It is also worth noting that I beleive the bays are paired up. 1 & 3 paired ans 2 & 4. So quickest charging in bays 1 & 2 or 3 & 4. If you charge in all 4 bays, it's splitting the charge between the individual bays, so will take almost as long as charging 2 at a time IIRC.

As explained in the manual, while the charger has four bays, it actually only has two independent channels. If you want to charge two cells independently of each other (i.e., each charged at the full 750mA current the unit is capable of), you need to place the cells in bays #1 & #2, #2 & #3, #1 & #4, or #3 & #4.

If you place the cells in the paired bays #1 & #3, or #2 & #4, the charging current will be split between the cells. Rather than just cutting in half (i.e., 375mA per bay), the current remains at 750mA for each bay – but it alternates charging by cycling off/on once every second for each battery. This effectively results in the same thing, but the cell is actually being charged at 750mA for a 1sec on, 1sec off, cycle.

I THINK YOU NEED TO TURN OFF THE CHARGER AND REMOVE THE BATTERIES. TAKE CARE AS THEY'LL PROBABLY BE HOT!
I've got the same charger and with AA batteries the LEDs don't show when they're fully charged.

Ok, but I still reckon you should be extremely cautious if you're going to use it for charging AA batteries. My own experience was that the third LED kept blinking for hours and the batteries had gotten pretty hot by that time.
