one of the joys is playing with low ohms, the 5amp switch limits this. Thanks.is anything below 1ohm classed as low erm yes & why would you want to go that low . . . . standard pre-built LR is normally classed as around 1.8, really don't get the sub 1.00ohm thing

anything regulated will have a limited range, normally calculated by what the switch is designed to cope with in amps. a mechanical mod has no wires in the switch which means the limit is now dictated by the specs of your battery, some are quite happy passing current at 10 amps - which means with a little juggling of volts and ohms you could be working at up to 100watts! instead of maxing out at about 15w on most regulated mods. This is why the fitting of a kick, max 10w, is a strange option in a mech mod.

Ooops, the new provari switch limit is 3.5amps, the early ones were 2.5amps
