They are a quality item, head an shoulders above most regulated mods. However not all of the additional cost can be detected in the vape. It's going to depend very much on what you attach, how you like to use it, what You want it to do. I have one, it spends a lot of its time sitting on my desk untouched.

Personally I would get a good mech mod, no pcb to interupt the vape from your kayfun also dont forget the proVari and other regulated devices dont like low ohm coils, Just a thought

It would work well with any silica wicked atty as they generally work well Within the minimum ohms a provari works with. However you might find it frustrating if you want to try a genesis ss mesh atti, they are Generally better suited to mech mods.

I have been using the bottom coil clearos for quite a while now but i find that the flavour tends to be muted compared to a carto tank. Wow i love the flavour that gives!, i may not get into rebuildables and stick to the carto tanks.

Provari doesn't use the same frequency & PWM that some of the cheaper VV/VW mods use so you don't get the familiar rattle snake sound while vaping, you might say it gives a smoother vape.

Provari is very well built and gives a smooth, flavourful vape. I think they suit silica-wicked atties the best. I think they work well with Kayfuns. Personally though I do find the Provari a bit of a pain with genesis style atties - they are very sensitive to coil resistance. If you intend mostly to use silica-wicked atties then Provari is unbeatable IMHO, although they are verrrry pricey!
I have recently been using a Sigelei flat head telescopic mod, and that has impressed me a lot. Although it uses PWM it seems to give a nice smooth vape, and the 'rattlesnake' is undetectable to my ears....

one of the joys is playing with low ohms, the 5amp switch limits this.

The lower the resistance the less voltage you can use with them, otherwise you'll just get an error msgs, E1 /E2 & they won't fire. On cheaper mods like the sigelies they won't tolerate anything around the 1.3ohms range just get low load msgs Don't know if there an absolute cut off point with a Provari, but I've just put a new coil on the OH's Cobra & I normally aim for about 1.5ohms, but Provari is saying 1.3 when it's firing, so it won't go much above 3.2v . . . . so until the new coil runs in & gets a bit gunked up he might as well be using a Mech mod.
