 update: the Vapers at my wifes work have decided not to say anything as they are worried that it may be banned altogether, i can understand their stance but it just irritates the hell out of me, i would not just accept the decision without having my say and giving them the facts, sorry starting to rant! Viva La Revolución!

ausfost did you send them the employee ecigs thing on the ECCA site, or just took bits from it? I guess if they don't want to be around smoke, they will have to go off their property which IMO is very poor.

I guess if they don't want to be around smoke, they will have to go off their property which IMO is very poor. sent them the ECCA employer guidance on policy etc and gave them a lot of info about E cigs, honestly believe the paperwork was not looked at. i have to back off a bit as it is not my workplace, i have advised that if they do not agree the employers decision they should challenge it or at the very least make a stand by leaving the premises to have their vape. Admittedly it is easy for me to say as i do sit at the desk and vape to my hearts content. Edumacated my director and gave him the ready made policy so he was happy. |

Ecigarettes have been banned on all our company premises. No explanation - just an announcement that they are not permitted. We don't have smoking shelters: smokers stand in the car park. Mind you, I do work in substance misuse and addiction...  |

I would be sacked on the spot if I vaped on the site or car park at work. I am lucky that I can leave the site on my lunch break to grab a lung full or two, shift workers are locked in for their full 12 hours as I used to be when I worked shifts there  |
