Sammy I've tried lots of different toppers. Other than pure rebuildables I keep coming back to mini novas, although I'm enjoying a protank at the moment

Found the 83 good but a bit airy I like a tight draw so got an air flow controller and use them on pro tank and 30 they can also be used on viva Nova. I ended up buying one of different things lol and liked evod.before the other two came into my possession. What I like may not suit you and what you like may not suit me or other people

Didn't notice a kanger evod on your list? Definetly worth a shout. The evod seems to be a strange one, everyone seems to know of it ( even me ) but whilst some rave about it others hate it, I'm not sure why. I figured if I put it on the list it would probably be 50/50 best ever/ load of rubbish lol. The ones on the list I have heard are good, but only perhaps by the person reviewing them which is why I would like a broader look at them.

For the record, I like both Marmite & EVODs What was the problem with the CE5s for you to go through so many in such a short time? I've got a vision v3 and a blister-pack CE5 - no probs with them, & they're easy to rewick/recoil (as are evods).

I've got a vision v3 and a blister-pack CE5 - no probs with them, & they're easy to rewick/recoil (as are evods). What wasn't the problem would be easier to answer Firstly they were all different, so I'm calling them CE5's because they came to bits, but they could have been updated ce4's or any version of a ce5. The ce4's I didn't have many problems with, but they didn't give much taste or vapour. The ce5's well - many of them (12 I believe no doubt bought from the same shop ) went straight in the bin. With some the liquid tasted burnt, or it produced nothing- zilch, nada, dead from the word go, or it leaked straight out as I put it in. Others started off ok, then leaked, from the top middle and bottom, leak, leak, leak. I bought some heads but they didn't work on the clearos, then I read you have to buy them all from the same place. I also found that they were all different. The centre posts some were longer. Some had longer wicks, thicker wicks, fewer wicks, yet they were all supposed to be ce5's. If they lasted long enough to be washed, then it went completely wrong this is where they fell to bits.

Putting higher voltages through any of them will change things completely. Higher volts mean higher temps, which will generally improve flavour, but the down side is it will thin the juice, this can cause both flooding and/or dry hits. A lot of the issues people have relate to the way they use atomisers, the strength and duration of your draw will dramatically affect how the vapour is produced and the wick/coil work. A good example of this is on a top end device, the Kayfun, it has an adjustable airflow. the problem is that airflow adjustment also determines how the juice is fed to the heating chamber. A tighter airflow will mean higher airspeeds passing through the chamber, as we all know the faster air moves the lower its pressure. With low air pressure in a bottom coil the air pressure differential above the juice will mean it is pushed down - into the atomising chamber. So a tight airflow it liable to flood the airway. If you suffer flooding then you need to open the airflow and slow the draw you apply. Conversly if its dry hitting you need to tighten the airflow/and or speed up the draw. This is counter intuitive, going harder on a burnt flavour is not what most people would naturally want to do. The same principle applies to any bottom coil device, the airflow control simply adds to the options to speed up/slow down the intake air flow.
top coil devices are trickier - they generally work in the opposite fashion - until you tip them - then depending on how full they are and how far you tip, they can become a bottom coil device while you are tooting on them. This is probably why most people prefer the more predictable bottom coil.

An Evod, Protank or a carto tank of some description maybe Sammy . . . may favourite is the Evod, I've hardly used anything else since discovering them and that includes my rebuildables. They've a light/soft draw, which not everyone likes ( I do ) the flavour you get with them though is brilliant for me, I've never vaped so much Custard! Maybe I've been lucky, but I've not had a moments problems with them, that includes the FT clones. That'll put the kibosh on it for sure.

hi if I was you I would go for any " bottom coil " or drip tank I have had most of the others and just like kirrielad said kanger evod is a very good place to start I would have saved a lot of money if I had got these first . I hope this helps all the best vic

I only use my Kanger Protanks and Mini Protanks now after some of my Kanger Evods started to fail on me in recent weeks.
I like the fact that i don't have to worry about any of my juices cracking the tank and i can use my old refurbed Evod heads in either of them, the Evod heads also give a better tighter draw imo.

I'm a big fan of the Evods. I had a CE5 with my blister pack, and moving to the evod was a revelation. MUCH better experience. So I ordered many of them while Health Cabin have their sale on (DHL lost my order though, D'oh).
Anyway, I also have a couple mini-protanks here, and a protank and iclear 30 on the way, so I will test them out too. The mini-protanks are really nice, but they are a very airy pull on them. A little too much for my liking if I'm honest. However, it is prettu easy to cover one of the air holes, and then it is a perfect draw (for my tastes).
And with the heads being interchangeable between the mini protanks, and the evods (as well as the protanks I believe), I can see me being a big Kanger fan from here on in (especially as my HC order included 75 evod heads).
I may well just have to order a couple more mini-protanks, and a couple protank 2's shortly (gotta let the bank balance recover a little first).
