Help with eGo Twist wiring

I am making (trying to make) a VV stealth vaper from the innards of an eGo Twist and 3 x AA battery box from Stealthvaper. Using a single 14500 battery.

I have it firing but I can only switch it off via the on/off switch of the battery box. So I've bypassed the fire button. What I have done wrong is in wiring up the eGo/510 connector. What should I connect the positive and negative of the eGo/510 connector to?

Not sure what you've done but found this short vid that shows how the pcb is wired.



The red and black wires going to the middle of the pcb either side I assume are from the variable resistor.
The red and black at the bottom are the battery connections and there will also be a negative connection to the battery tube.
