As already said, it's to do with cabin pressure. You need to go on the plane with an empty clearo and wait until your up at the cruising altitude before you fill it.
Landing has no effect, it's just the taking off and getting to altitude that makes them leak.

It's one of the advantages of mech mods over cig-a-likes.

They can arbitrarily ban the use of e-cigs on their property all they want but the vast majority of people enforcing the rules don't know what the hell you are doing sucking on a light-saber.

I have had only one busy body tell me I couldn't use an electronic cigarette when I was using one of my own mods.

Told him it's a PV, it's mechanical not electronic and it's most definitely not a cigarette.

I only use mech mods when I could be in a position to infringe a local ruling. I would go to court on that one, would love to see somebody try to prove that the half pound of brass and steel in my hand was an electronic cigarette. Am pretty sure I could defend that case myself armed with only a dictionary. Define 'electronic', define 'cigarette', case dismissed.
