Kayfun Lite wicking suggestions

Kayfun lite = no pulse required, Just dump the juice in there but do not fill to the brim

Sorry for slightly hijacking this but my lites turned up yesterday.

I've found them to be very finicky about how much wick to use..

Too little and they leak like crazy out of the airhole, too much and it affects the flavour giving a slightly burnt tinge..

Ive set mine up with 1mm silica x 8. One works perfect, the other either leaks or doesn't taste right depending how the wicks are set..

Going to redo the second one again tonight..



What annoys me the most is that ive lost~20ml gvc trying to get it right so far what with it leaking everywhere when its upright..

I use 1.5mm wick for a kayfun lite and I use the figure of 8 method, a tad more time consuming but for me its the better performing.

I just close the juice control and remove the top nut and fill..

Vapr mesh didn't have any 3mm when I ordered my wicking bits but may have to try and get some if this works out for you!

Going to boil my 2mm ekowool today ready to strip the custard KFL to try 2 x 2mm ekowool to see if I can better the flavour im getting with the silica.

Speaking of custard.. have you made any changes to your custard recipe listed in the recipe section?

(25% capella vc, 6% French vanilla, 1.8% sweetener)

Worked very well but quite a bit of effort (I am lazy when it comes to more work )

Tried blakey version, very similar to version 2 and works very well

Tried Greigster version and this one for me was the easiest, it was fiddly at first like most versions but found a routine and it worked well and once i found that routine it was dead easy, same vape and everything that version 2 and blakey has to offer, not had one single dry hit and i don't chain vape so i thought i would try to see how it goes and the Kayfun stormed though it like a trooper

The only mistake i made and i don't know how it happened (Maybe to much juice or something to do with pressure) was my juice leaked out of the air hole a bit, i filled from the top, don't know if that is a bad idea but the instructions says it can be done?

Just for info if filling from the bottom how many ml's should i fill?

Overall OMG it's a cracking device and the vape/flavor is out of this world, i don't think i need to mention the quality of the thing but i will, simply outstanding engineering

And to top it off it looks outstanding on my SVD in 18650 mode and even better in 18350 mode (Ain't tried it on my eVic yet)

Perpetua Maybe this could be integrated with the Kayfun Lite tips thread that I started a few days back? Slim it down to just the useful info (no offence meant to any who've inputted) and lock it up as a VERY informative resource? Or if it's easier pick out the good bits and start a new thread altogether?

To be honest, after re-reading "my part", most of the information is nowhere near as clear as in Romelees part..

Maybe just re-split them and get rif of mine and sticky this one?
