Hi I have an X8 I got from fasttech. The cartomizer that came with it was crap! I ordered the standard sized boge cartos from vapeescape. Though I stupidly didn't get the pre punched ones. So now have a carto hole puncher too. They are cheap enough as well. The X8 works great with the boge cartos. Regards laurie

Thanks Super-Shiny I chucked my old carts away ages ago so have got nothing to compare size wise You can measure them compared to the tank, dimensions of carto's here: Standard = 45mm overall (including threads) XL = 50mm overall (including threads)

I'm pretty positive you're right Rom . . . with a 2.5ml capacity it will take the standard size Cartomisers, you could use the XL but there'd be a section of the carto not immersed in the tank.

Thanks all, the ones that come with it are 40mm including the thread so a 45mm standard punched boge would be fine I guess.

Ive bought an x8 from fastech along with some of the carts that come with it but apparently I can use boge carts in them, there seems to be all sorts of sizes out there with holes without holes....can anyone help me please!!! I know I will buy the wrong ones Pam O There are mainly 2 types of Boge cartomizer: standard size (35mm or 40mm including the thread - holds 0.9ml) and with XL mark (45mm or 50mm including the thread - holds 1.4ml). Each of them can be in standard resistance SR (2.7-3.1 ohm) or low resistance LR (2.0 - 2.2 ohm). If you don't have a carto punch, you need to buy prepunched cartomizers. Again, there are two types of selection: with one or two holes. In X8 I tested both and they worked fine. Hole in one who has only one is larger (about 2mm). Holes are 1cm away from the connector, so they can be used in all DCT's too. I hope I have helped you in choosing the right one.
