Us Village Idiots Vapers must stick together!!!! Always I have tried to spend no more than half of what I used to spend on fags, but that was fairly easy as I used to spend upwards of 14 quid a day on ciggies. Over the year my daily spend came in at £6.30p. Over next year I would like to see that drop by half again.

I've bought nothing but juice since I got the svd. I'd say I've spent less than £30 in the last few months . Very happy with that.

That is the way I am heading. Cutting back on spending and "to try" to cut back on strength. Nothing drastic, but I am on 24mg at the moment and have been since I started. Now that the first year is in, with my next batch I will make to 22mg. I will run with that until I no longer notice the reduced strength and if that is okay, I will knock another 2mg off in the following batch.
I do not expect to get lower than about 18mg. If I do, it will be a bonus, but if I am okay at 18mg, then I will be content.

I am 24mg and will wait a year before a slight reduction, as I am very happy on this amount.

I've cut back from 18mg when I started (maybe that was a bit too low, but the novelty value of vaping meant I didn't notice the difference, just vaped more!), and my next mix will be down from 12mg to 10mg, as I have tried 10 and was quite content with it. My intention is to be down to 9 by my first year anniversary on 13th September, so I think I'll make that quite easily. Will I always vape? Good question - I love it at the moment, but I would like to go down to around the 5mg mark so that if all goes lady's bumps upward in the MHRA farce, I should be in a position to stop with no noticeable effect. I would be quite happy to vape zero-nic just for pleasure I think! Andy

I imagine I will always vape and it will always be no lower than 18mg. Be intersting for me to check this thread in a year and see what I feel then.

I think I will always Vape. I have tried many times to stop smoking and although I always succeeded, I could never stay stopped. The last time was 18 months off them.
Now that I have found a way of still getting my Nic Kick at an affordable cost and with a pleasant flavour, but with no health issues, I am certainly not going to put myself through the wringer of trying to stop Vaping. And for me, it would be "a wringer".
My own opinion, at the moment, is that Vaping is "not healthy". It is better than smoking, but if I thought that I could stop Vaping at some point in the future, then I would head that way. However I have failed to stop smoking completely so many times and been devastated by starting again so many times, that I cannot honestly see me even trying to stop Vaping.
Cut down the strength a bit, yes. But stop altogether? Naw, why should I?
