Sensible Spending, at last.

Last months spending was;-

£21.20p on 60ml of Royal Tobacco flavouring. Now in the freezer.

Items used apart from e-juice, one Viva Nova head @ £2.50p.

I reckon that my months worth of e-juice came in @ £12.00.

So I reckon that my Vaping last month has cost me about 47p a day.

If I had still been smoking, it would have been whatever the price is these days for 40 superking.
I am hard pushed to keep track of the price of fags as every time I blink they seem to rise in cost.

Having had a year of getting everything I need to continue vaping for the foreseeable future, I think I am now beginning to properly reap the benefits of being a Vaper.

My vaping mate and I have just ordered £80 worth of flavours and nic base to mix our next batch of juices. Blimey, you might think, that's a lot of dosh, but then work out that the expenditure will keep us both in juice for the next 2-3 months, and it works out at about £13/month, or less than £3.50/wk, and then it seems a whole lot more reasonable!
I recoil and rewick myself, so consumables are cheap and long lasting in that department, and the odd Protank to keep my shinyitis at bay and I'm well in profit like you.

That is my next project to brew my own lol it's just finding the flavour as the juice I'm on now I've not seem the flavour about

Congrats Lobeydosser It's really nice to see the financial benefits.

As you can see from my banner, I'm finding it challenging to spend as much on vaping as I was on smoking.

Have you had a look at the new revamped recipe threads on the Mixology board bazzer343 (plug, plug!). There are loads of recipes there ripe for the picking, and if there is nothing there to whet your appetite, why not ask us if we can help put together a recipe for you? There is a wealth of experience here on the forum, and I'm sure we could make up something you would like!

I think I am enjoying the cost reduction as much as anything. I didn't spend a penny on vaping last week and have no need to spend anything till Thursday, till I order more juice.

The girls need new shoes, will have days out with their mates during this school holiday. It just feels so lovely no longer having to build the £64 a week into the out goings, and instead use it to fund other things instead without trying to keep robbing Peter, to pay Paul.

Best thing I ever did was to start vaping both health and money wise. I am going to give diy a go come Winter. I hate the winter and always give myself a project to look forward to, so diy juice is this years.

Mind you getting rid of my old model saved a fortune she could spend for sake of it lol now my new model that's total different Mrs Vamo.she doesn't spend a penny , she drinks a bit but that's only juice. Still she will get jealous when Mrs Sid turns up and has to compete for my affection lol

No I've been told she know how to behave proper Mrs vamo was a bit wild at first but soon tamed her.

Don't panic bazzer343, we all have a Mrs. XXX somewhere to look after (or a Mr. XXX in the case of the ladies, I suppose!). The shiny finish wore off my first Mrs. V, so I had to buy another - from China! LOL Still, she is a newer model and goes out with me everywhere, and never leaves my hand!

I have 11 years worth of Nic Base in the freezer, so I don't need any more of that.

I basically use one tobacco flavour (Royal) and so I will continue to buy 60ml of that per month for a while.
The other flavours I like are Menthol and Spearmint (mixed) and some citrus fruit flavours and again I will be buying these in 50+ ml bottles for my stash.

I will also need to buy more PG & VG to stash away.

I am not any good at coiling, so the two Spheroids that I have will be the only units I will coil. The rest I will buy in as and when I need to.

Vaping is simply something I do, whether in the house, out in the garden, driving the car or when I am caravanning.
Being retired I don't work, nor do I socialise in company, so shinyitis and bling is never been something that I have had any attraction to. Therefore all my purchases are based on quality and practicality.

I guess I am a rather boring old fart, but Vaping has brought me a lot of luxuries that I would not have been able to afford had I still been smoking and so, when I do go out and buy some vaping equipment, I buy the best from the best vendors. I am still using the Vision 1000 kit I bought at the beginning.

You've heard of the Village Idiot. Well I'm the Village Vaper. Everyone knows I no longer smoke, I Vape instead and gradually folks here that smoke are beginning to realise that I am not just going through a phase with some new fangled gizmo, but this might just be the answer to their way too expensive addiction. So yes, I am getting enquiries as to how they could try this also. No 100% commitment yet, but that will come in time.

Meanwhile, I will continue to curb the wants in favour of the needs and enjoy the benefits of a healthy, for the first time in my life, Bank Balance.

lobeydosser, I too am the only vaper in the village, made me laugh when I read that.

Buying all things shiny has not really got a hold of me too. Just have two spinner, a spare parasise vape battery (gave my dad the other) and two iclears and three evods. That really will do for me, more than happy with what I have. I took want to use the old cig money for luxuries that all us Siffords can get the benefit from, am already thinking that trip back to Florida might be more than a dream now, three years of cig money and we can go without living hand to mouth the rest of the year, to get there. I just love being able to afford little treats now and I'm only 7 weeks in.
