Glad to say the Kayfun 3.1, Nemesis, Kick & Tiafun GT arrived from FT before crimbo, needless to say i had give them a go.
Here goes,
Kick needed sanding a little but fitted ok so i made a figure of 8 coil with 2 mm ekowool for the Kayfun, 0.2 kanthal 3 turns came out at 2 ohms filled it up as per vids set the kick to 7.5 w WOW what a great vape, now i know what everyone was shouting about.

Did the same with the Taifun using 3 strands of 2 mm ekowool, nothing but a burnt taste so binned that wick, recoiled 3 strands of 1.5 silica 4 raps of 0.2 kanthal 2.5 ohms SUPERB, not quite as much vapour as the Kayfun but that could be the diferent juices i am using.
I must say they were worth the wait, will defo be going for either the Kayfun light or Russian 91% when funds allow

By the way the Nemesis is very good quality too.

The taifun off FT is brilliant i agree, I build mine with cotton wick, sub ohm and cant go wrong with it. No leaking or anything and the nemesis as well is a very nice clone off FT... especially with the magnet upgrade in the switch.

Hi been following this thread im doing a micro coil and cotton wick for the first time on my newly arrived Kayfun, Ive done 12 turns of 0.25 on a 2mm drill bit as Super-Shiny said and its comming out at 2.7 ohms is this correct please.

Grandad try 8 turns if you want lower ohms, it's what i do with all mine now, should come out around 1.8ohms

Grandad forgot to add, can't see 100% with the picture but make sure the coil does not touch the center chamber, again i can't tell by the first picture but it looks very close.

yeh i checked that was very close so raised it up slightly Super-Shiny , tried another coil at 8 turns as surgested and spot on 1.8 ohms thanks for that great info :-)

I have followed Super-Shiny's great guide and yet again, spot on, 7 turns of .25 Kanthal and 1.7ohm spot on, just what I was wanting. Working a treat on my Caravela so I'm vaping on 10mg Red Astaire and loving it all over again!
P.S. my coil doesn't look anywhere as neat as Grandad's - that's seriously good

A little help please wicked my Kayfun keeping the channels clear all back together and filled from the fill hole in the bottom screw leaving a bubble at the top and not over filling.
I've tried all different watts from the bottom up slowly and not getting much vapour, the taste isn't to bad but vaping Red Astaire 18mg its not what I've seen on videos or expected.
Stripped it all down and everything how it was, left a 1mm gap above the air hole from the coil.
Any help or ideas appreciated, using microcoil 1.8 ohms with cotton.

Not much vapour and muted taste sounds like it's flooded. Turn it upside down and gently blow through drip tip. If juice comes out of air hole it's flooded. Probable cause not enough wick.

Which Kayfun is it? Genuine lite or 3.1 or other, if clone where did you get it from?

Hi @cornersruns its a 3.1clone I believe I bought it from a member on the forum, I tried the blowing through and OK.
I wet the wick before rebuilding and needed them up against the the square sde walls leaving the channels clear.
