Well you can do All you need to use ordinary AA rechargeables is this : It's parts of a GG Storm & GG Transformer fitted together to hold 3 x 1.5v AA batteries. Now who says size doesn't matter

at a price, Chrissie...lol Certainly is Lilac Mind you the GG's really are so well made, I think they are well worth the money. The one on the right in the photo is the GG Grant (same model as I have). A while ago the owner of that Grant had 2 unprotected batteries explode in it Due to button & vent hole placements, it vented away from him. He wasn't harmed & as you can see, after a clean up, the Grant wasn't harmed either. Unlike this Chuck (& a few other mods that have had batteries explode in them) : www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/thag-built-chuck/75702-my-chuck-blew-up-literally-2.html

I do wish people would be more careful with their batteries; it just gives amunition (no pun intended) to the opposition who say that EN-I devices are not up to the required standard! I also wish that a certain person who sells and advertises on You Tube would STOP COUGHING when making video clips!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fox

Foxy the most ironic story about exploding batteries is from a mod called the detonator Robert, the guy who made & sold it, had one explode in his pocket he was banned from ECf a while ago but before he was, I remember seeing photos of his mod & thinking I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole! Yes people do have to be very careful with their batteries when using a mod but they also have to be very careful when choosing a mod. For example, where are the vent holes & the button placement.

I was never scared of batteries until I started vaping!! Some people can be a tad irresponsible I think. On the other hand, even some of the tried and tested can cause problems; I read the other day of a chap who dropped a Tornado battery on the floor and it got hotter and hotter - he put it outside and fortunately it just cooled down again. Needless to say he got rid of it (hopefully responsibly ). The consensus was that it had short circuited - all units should be treated with respect as should any electrical equipment. Having said that, they're not half as dangerous as a lighted cigarette!!! Fox
