Essentially yes just with the outer 2 holes drilled out to take mods i guess. Good spot pyr0.

You can buy plastic dayglow test tubes in the pound shop a bag of 6 I think. They are flat on the bottom so they stand up, they are classed as drinking test tubes, anyone who used to frequent Yates many years ago will know what I mean.
You could pop those in if they fit, and spray paint the stand in fluorescent colours to match.
