Yes the oil word irritates me more than the smoking word for some reason.
I didn't hear what the lady was saying at the time, so couldn't correct it later.
There may be an opportunity if our local MP takes the bait.

The reporter wasn't looking for a heavy duty piece, more general interest and it could have
been easy to either put him off or to come over as a zealot.

Please understand - this was off the cuff stuff, unscripted and almost completely unedited.
Apart from mixing up the order of bits he included almost everything he videoed.

The first important thing I think is to get over that its safe, better than smoking and becoming ever more popular.
Hinting at the corner it is in, lets people discover that themselves.
Having said that - if my MP takes the bait and comes to the market there will be a good opportunity
to present some of the political argument.

Nice work markm . My personal (some would say cynical) view is that for all their pontificating about the dangers of smoking, the fascists in power don't give a toss about the amount of money that premature deaths from smoking costs the NHS because they get many times that amount in tobacco tax and they save having to pay state age pension to those who die early. They (currently) don't get that level of tax from Ejuice so would be quite happy to see us nicotine addicts back on the stinkies. Also the tobacco industry has huge sway with these fascists.

There, rant over, will now go back to watching the Phil Busardo 'Legal Vape 4000' video to cheer myself up.

To say you was caught on the hop Mark you did ok , the one thing I would suggest though is if Simon burns comes along for a visit is to use the word smoking in context where it belongs with cigarettes, this should also apply to any potential customers, the word vape or vaping should be the overriding word used in relation to the product you are selling , ok it might just be me , I hate the word smoking being used in relation to vaping simply because it is not smoking.

Anyway well done Mark and good luck with the stall.

You're not the only one mybad...I am with you on the use of language. Language is the first hurdle. Just like disability rights or any other rights....First change the language to make it more pro us and less negative....(vaping therefore instead of smoking) and then go from there
