Planned making a birdseye maple mod since last Vapefest after seeing the birdseye maple Provari and only just got round to making it. Started it a couple of weeks ago but most of the time it was a case of waiting for glue and varnish to dry then cutting and sanding so everything fits without looking a mess. Used twin 18650 and regulated with a modded MP2307 board (KIS 3R33S module), used a yellow meter to match the maple In between waiting for things to dry knocked up a atty stand in cherry wood. The wood was hard enough to take a thread so atties screw in

Very nice. Lovely depth to the Maple. I've had some Japanese cherry, Apple and Douglas fir curing out the back for the last 10 years or so, may be time to get my tools out

Cheers guys, much apretiated. Meant to say tho that it is a standard plastic twin 18650 case covered in birdseye maple veneer hence the glueing.

Lovely bit of work Rob, spot on with the yellow LED's. Nice hunk of Maple, it'll no doubt age to a fine golden luster. Well done.
