Found this a little interesting Had a similar taste when I tried it. Maybe it's the filler burning in the carts, maybe dripping at 5v is different? What do you people think ?

That chappie is vaping at 6v Blakey . . . something I never got on with, tried it once and that was enough for me, far too harsh and stripped out the flavour of any juice completely. But you've got to try these things to check that you're not missing anything. 5v with a standard resistance atomiser is a different matter for me, using the good old passthrough on a mains usb hub, a lovely vape. Though using a Low Resistance atomiser on a mod gives a very similar experience.

I realised that he was at 6v perp but I got the same when I tried both a dc and an sc at 5v. was just wondering what other peoples experiences were

Ah, 5v is too much for those Blakey . . . you need a standard resistance something otherwise you will indeed get fried carto syndrome.

Lol!
Was it a new atomiser Blakey? They can take a bit of time to shake off the primer and take on the juice flavour.
What device are you using at 5v out of interest.

I was coughing like a trouper on any tobacco no matter how mild... and I still cough at 3.7 if I inhale too much... So after much deliberation (about a week) I've decided to stick to 3.7v... Personally vape and throat hit are alien to me LOL So long as there's a semi decent puff of smoke when I exhale I'm happy and the juice tastes good.. Currently using single coil cartos (love the noise of them) and 3.7 IVR (I think - red een) 14500 batteries....cartomizers came from LF (see my classifieds..trying to raise monies for more) and like battery from cloud 9 Jo

Tried again with the attie that came with it and it's much improved, Not sure I like the flavours warmed though Stll have a load of dual coils to get through so I'll stick to them for a while and come back to this when I need a change

I agree with Roachie, the dual coils give a fantastic vape at 5v,so do the single coils to.

The best vape I've found is Boge 3ohm 801 cartos on 5v, a marriage made in heaven. Just enough throat hit, bags of vapour and flavour that is simply delicious.
I use a GDPT at home and a Box 101 for out and about.
Blakey you should leave the cartos for an hour after filling to allow the juice to fully soak in otherwise you do risk burning the filler. I've found this with all cartos.
