I have a few 'hangy things' but they are designed to hold plastic I.D. cards, don't know how they would work with paper?

I'll e-mail it to you now spikey......You don't need a template..... just open the attachment & print it........it'll print to the exact size........I've got a nest of safety pins I'll be bringing......They're meant to give support to my incontinence knickers, but I'm sure I'll be able to spare some....( the pins, not the knickers.... )

Well . . . what a palaver I've had doing my badge, how to make something essentially simple as complicated as possible.

First off, forgot to adjust the size I wanted to print . . . it went downhill rapidly after that.









Ok, adjust the size and try again I thought . . . though it's printed up a little pastel. Not too worry, it'll be fine when it's smaller. It wasn't.


Must be the colour cartridge running low? Scrabble around and find I haven't another colour cart. Light bulb moment, I've a prehistoric photo printer . . . I'll get that out and set it up. So, I do that, only too find that since I've had Windows 7 put on the desk top, I don't have the necessary software installed to make it work.

Another light bulb moment, download it off the net . . . job done you'd think. Not so, having done the download, fiddled around trying to remember how to use the thing, I then get an error message saying the cartridge in it, isn't recognised or installed.

Not to worry again, I know I've some spare cartridges for this! More scrabbling and rummaging whilst I locate them, by now my spare bedroom is beginning to resemble a bombsite with debris all over the place.

Finally find the spare carts and eventually get one installed . . . only to have the same error message again.

Plan F needed here now as I'm beginning to lose the will, phone my friend and ask if I can nip round and use their printer. No probs with that, so round I toddle in the pouring rain to print my badge off.

Printed it off . . . and it's still come out really pale.


I've given up now, you'll all know me I'll be the one with the really pastel coloured badge.

Thats strange Perpetua as ours came out really dark. Almost to dark lol. See told you earlier you should be on these things already. Rofl.

You shouldn't have had to re-size it Mandy....It should have printed to the exact size..........are you blonde by any chance?.....

Oh Dear!! I really don't like printers either... they always go on the blink when you need them the most!!! And the number of times ours has strangely run out of ink, and weird how reams of paper that I keep buying goes missing too ??? ...     (Yet not one of our 3 teenagers have touched or used the printer...  Yeah!! I was born yesterday!!!      )




I didn't quite have the problems you have had today Perpetua, but I did manage to print out an A4 sized badge!! Would look rather fetching if only I can find a holder for it!!
