Been reading on here of a long time that Boots sell VG! So I have been too 3 Boots stores and 3 independents chemists none of which has any, or are prepared to order any for me.

Now I’m one of the members on here that don’t really want to get into mixing, I’m very happy with my 2 juice suppliers, main one is Stanton at Vapology, but I do want to dilute some juices I have.

So I’m only looking for 100ml max or even 50ml I do not want to purchase a 500ml bottle, I also don’t want any nicotine in it do anyone know of a supplier that can or do supply 50ml bottles?

Pacer - Pacer, that's quite surprising. Are you asking specifically for vegetable glycerin? Reason I ask is that pharmacies sell it as glycerin.

How strange Pacer . . . all of the chemists near me, Boots or otherwise have VG with their cough medicines.

I picked some up in Tesco on Saturday. It was just on a regular shelf by the cough/throat medications. No need to even visit the pharmacist.

Aaghh!!) That could well be the problem… I did say it had to be pharmaceutical / Food Grade vegetable glycerine, I was offered a glycerine from one of the independents’ but all it said was glycerine and he did get it from the cough medicine section Prep’s so it seems like I’m being an Eejit

Not to worry Pacer you weren't to know if you've not bought it before, at least you know you can get it locally now.

You'll also find your local supermarket will stock it, in the Baking aisle . . . dinky bottles - but if you're only wanting small amounts it may be enough for you.

Not an eejit at all @pacer.  When I first went on the hunt for glycerin, I was asking the pharmacist whether it was vegetable glycerin and they said that they didn't know and couldn't confirm it.


Care branded and Boots value glycerin (some Boots sell one or the other) are both confirmed as vegetable glycerin.  On the label, it will probably list the main ingredient as glycerol v/v but don't let that put you off as glycerol is just a different name for glycerin.
