Maplin have a code for £3 off a £30 spend. The cheapest thing I've found on their site is 9p: www.maplin.co.uk/mylar-film-capacitors-371Add that in your basket together with the ultrasonic cleaner then use code AWINDIS10 to get it for £27.08 delivered.

They are awesome. Im a bit of an Evod fanboy and every sunday I unscrew the lot of em and chuck em in for 2 or three cycles with a denture tablet. Blow the heads (easy you lot) 2 quick dry burns and all my atties are like brand new.
Regards Jez

I'm using evods at the minute but I'm still very much a noob and if this prolongs life and usage it might be a future investment. Just wonder what else i can use it for though.

Jez sorry i have only just seen your answer from last week, i didn't realise you could put the denture tabs in the cleaner, i have just been using a bit of washing up liquid but could still smell flavours in bottles after they had been on a cycle so using denture tabs should remove any odours in bottles now i know.

Sorry peeps. Ive been on nights so Im a little frazzled. Yeah so the main uses for my US cleaner are atties. For evods I break them down So i have the tank, the base and the head. excess juice out, if its a strong flavour I will usually give em a rinse in a bit of clean water. Then I chuck em all in with 1/2 to a whole denture tablet. The tablet fizzes and has a very slight mint taste but this disappears under the taste of the juice. Give em a 8 min session and then out they come. Some people would then rinse them with clean water to remove residue. I don't bother. Let em dry (if you used warm water (DONT USE BOILING) then it wont take long on a clean teatowel) Blow the heads out to remove most of the water then once the bases are dry (manually or by power of air ) i screw in the head, stick it on an ego battery and dry burn it untill you can see it glowing, by this time the wick should be white again too. Build it back up and vape away) Like I said once a week I keep one evod and all the rest go on a cycle. I don't know if it will prolong or deteriorate life. One thing I will warn you of is that putting the evod tanks in here will strip whatever colour they have one them. I now have a compartment full of silver evods. But I don't mind and you could always just wash the tank out and US clean the heads and bases. Other uses for the US are steeping juices. Warm water and just keep going. Takes most of the day to get an months worth of steeping, and some are still divided. Just make sure the water aint getting too hot as heat breaks down nicotine but I usually leave the bottles in the cleaner, put it on a cycle when I'm passing and then take em out if I'm using the cleaner for anything else. Recently I put all my mechanical mods through it with some special solution for tarnishes. Got a nice buffing cloth and it was epic. I was making the puss chase the reflection off the GGTS for days. On a non ecig related thread I also use it to clean my electric shaver, electric toothbrush and sometimes my wedding ring. When cleaning metal tho you need extra solution for cleaning. Bit of a blog post this one but if you have any other questions I shall endeavour to answer them Regards Jez JayJ
