Sooooo my brother and I found a website where we could buy XL Clearomizers at whole sale prices. BUT he mistakenly bought 808D Atomizers instead of 510 (which are the kind of batteries we have) So I went to Totally Wicked (Where I got my batteries) to get an adapter for it... but the 510 to 901/808 adapter doesn't fit the Clearomizers. I don't know what kind of batteries to buy or where... Can anyone help me?

Hello & welcome Shma.  I'm afraid the 808 is not a model I'm at all familar with, assuming you are unable to return them to the Supplier . . . it looks as if maybe Liberty Flights stock some batteries to fit. www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=29But I'd wait for someone who may have had experience of the 808 range to confirm this. |

Believe Heaven Gifts has some converters...
I'm on a LF mod box with 510 fitting and am using 808D Cartos...works fine...
Can't recall where I got my adapter from thou..If it was the above on LF?

Hello & welcome Shma The batteries that Perpy has linked to are indeed for 808D cartomisers. However, if you go for those batteries you will also have to buy a different charger  I wonder why your adapter doesn't fit? |

I'm wondering if this is as simple as it sounds - assuming that you have indeed received Clearomizers with an 808D fitting that adapter from Totally Wicked really ought to work. Have you tried contacting TW to ask about this, Shmallicus?
When you say that the adapter doesn't fit can you expand on that a little? Does one end screw in to the 510 battery OK but the cartomizers will not screw on to the other end of it? If they won't is that because the threads are going in rather than out or some other problem?
Just wondering if there's an outside chance that perhaps you received the wrong adapter. There are a number of different ones, after all. Can you hold the adapter up to the screen to check against the pictures on the website to see if it looks as if you have the right one?

The adapter fits the 510 battery fine, but not the clearomizers. The threads don't seem long enough to screw the two together. But they are male to female fittings. I have been cheating a lil by just holding the two pieces together but it's driving me nuts! The only thing I can think of as to why the adapter doesn't fit is that it doubles for a 901 atty also, and with some research I found the two are not exactly alike... Which sucks cuz now I'm not sure which battery to get... I can't tell if they will fit or not. I took a chance and purchased some batts that might work... Fingers crossed!!! Otherwise I have 100 clearomizers that don't fit my batts....

The adapter being a 808/901 shouldn't stop it fitting 808 cartos or clearos.
BTW, you could always try selling your clearos in our Classified section.

Kr 808d-1 batts from lite cig usa. I will wait and see if they fit... I got my clearomizers from micro cig directly... They supply TW. And I checked on the adapter... It's correct....

Ok, my batts FINALLY came in lol and they are a perfect fit! it was the adapter... :/ but I'm back to vaping normally again. Thanks guys for hearing my troubles lol. Btw while looking on here I saw some one wanting to trade for a GG... I didn't know what it was so I googled it and OMG!! That thing is amazing!!! I didn't know such awesomeness existed!! my new goal is to own one of those precious babys one day... |

Jo, a GG is short for a Golden Greek and is probably the rolls royce of e. cigs Very expensive, but totally worth it! |

Also sham, if you buy the GGTB with 901 fitting, the 808's will fit straight on it. The GGTS just needs the re-threader fitting (supplied)
