I have to say, it is a decision you wont regret chrisjw . I've got a Spheroid that I've re-coiled more than 20 times now and the Kayfuns are heading in the same direction - I use them all the time and they are still as good as the day I got them and just work brilliantly all the time. I long since came to the conclusion that quality rebuildables pay off big time in the long run

I'd also suggest trying a Kayfun. I've tried so much different stuff with varying levels of dissatisfaction but have now got a couple of 3.1's which I use pretty much exclusively.
They have a very short learning curve and give very consistent results.
