Right..............I have had a nightmare of a day......some of it personal & some of it vaping related & one has probably had an affect on the other.....suffice to say, that I have decided that faffing about with certain atty's is a waste of time & energy......it started off with a Nauti that refuses to show anything but "low load" whatever I do with it ( but that now is in the bin), progressed to 2 Aga-T's ( both are shorting, which never happens to me) & has ended with a Dream atty ( lost one of those stupid pins )....I've had nothing but aggro from all of them....I know we all have days like that in the vaping world, where once one thing goes wrong, it's a snowball effect on everything else....I have decided to stop fiddling for today & start again afresh tomorrow, so I have put everything away ( at least, the bits I haven't binned )& gone back to basics.....I'm sitting here vaping on an old Ego-twist & vision clearo & both are working perfectly. I'm going to get all my vaping gear ( atty's & older mods etc) together & start getting rid of them & replace it with "blakey" type gear....i.e decent, top of the range atty's that have screws instead of tiny pins & springs, mesh wicked atty's that are protected so don't short & an upgrade ( probably a Kayfun or two ) to the Dream....I can't be doing with messing about with cheaper "clones" anymore & maybe my stuff will help other vapers coming up through the ranks.....
So, I need advice & inspiration on what to get........I will need to sell to replace unfortunately, but I want to get prepared..........
* I might wake up tomorrow & change my mind, but I doubt it.....I hate being beaten.

This is the reason I like my nova's , quick screw off and on with a new head no faffing around and away you go again , dont even bother to even try and rewick them just for the sake of a few pence.

I second the Kayfun Lite and maybe a Ithaka or Hercules (Ithaka clone but is very well made).

See, this makes me think I'm better off sticking with my basic ego batteries and CE5s/Evods, 'cos if I find something bigger and better my expectations will be raised then it'll only go wrong LOL!! Having said that ... what is a Kayfun lite??!

Forgot too add, the KFL is dead easy to re-wick after the first 2-3 tries, also they bring the flavor of the juices out a lot more imo, i use it as my night time vaping machine, through the day then Davides etc etc.

I must say with my small amount of experience with true rebuildables, I seriously can not be arsed with it. Give me a good buy and vape set up any day. When I was a smoker, I didn't mind rolling but imagine if you bought tobacco leafs then shredded them, then made your roll ups. The final product might be better than any pre packaged 'baccy' but seriously, is it worth thw effort? Some how I doubt it.
I'm actually getting to the stage where even recoiling is too much effort and I'm looking for good place to buy quality evod and ismoka vapeonly bcc heads in bulk.

Chris I think most of us go through this at some point. I find I really have to be in the mood for rebuilding attys or it doesn't work for me. I tried genesis style and have given up, as I could only get a very rare mesh/coil to work. No biggie, as I tend not to vape tobacco flavours and silica is better for what I vape. I've also tried cheap attys and given up on those too. I have a dream sitting unused and have sold various others. I still love my first true rebuildables - my Penelopes - and can do those with my eyes closed now, although I have started buying ready-wires to remove even the faff of measuring and twisting wires. My Kayfun 2.1 sometimes gets used, sometimes not. Outside of that I'm more than happy with mini novas and a Protank.

Interesting ................... I've been at this vaping lark for three months now. Initially I experimented with Mods and atty's that I had "On Loan" until I finally decided to stick to Ego Batteries. Tried vision clearomizers and Evods, but finally settled on Kangertech T3S's. Everything works, fine. I can understand people wanting supposedly better things, but if something basic works and is cost effective why go to all the hassle of wanting to upgrade all the time? Frankly, most of the mods I indulged were no better than a basic set up, indeed, a few of them were worse. That probably explains why a friend of mine who has a ridiculously expensive system which many people rate very highly keeps trying to pick up and use my ego set-ups! It's the old glass half full or half empty syndrome. Each to their own. Jag. (Hangsen Red Energy is becoming addictive....)

I feel your pain chrisjw. Good call on the simple backups, that's why I always keep a Riva battery and a couple of basic atty's in my kit. Had to break them out last night in fact. Shame you binned the Nauti, I could maybe have done something with that for you? Can't advise on what to get I'm afraid, am sat here vaping a bolt with a mini Nova

as you all no im relatively new to this a few months infact but from my experience the cheaper kits give me a chemical after taste, now I have bought this sigelei mod and using a kanger pro on top I find that taste is now gone and I get better flavour so I would recommend better gear as it seem to me to give a cleaner burn if that's the way to put it.
